I can assure you that people do anyway and always have, and that this is a big part of why people find the content not long-lasting and systems overly simple and stress-free. You don't have to agree with people playing it in those circumstances nor the developers catering to it, but they frequently say how they are designing it "because people have limited time nowadays" - words to that effect were in the last live letter digest even.
