I can't say I agree that it's socially acceptable to publicly shame and bully people who buy from the mogstation, and I'm also not sure how effective it even is.

While there are certainly people who purchase items from the shop in some odd attempt to impress other players, there are also players who honestly don't care what your opinion of them might be and are purchasing items from the shop because they enjoy what they gain from it. Whether it's a mount that puts a smile on their face during use it, or an outfit that completes a look they want for their character.. it's not about getting your approval but rather satisfying their own personal want.

And with those people, all your public shaming and bullying accomplishes is making them wonder whether you have mental issues.

$18 an outfit that doesn't even come with gloves, and the hat doesn't seem to work for Viera or Hrothgar, when a big point in 7.3 was that Viera and Hrothgar would finally be able to wear hats! If you want the gloves, get ready to pay another $6! Oh, what's that? You wanted the sleeves rolled up? Sorry, that's another $18, you poor fuck! What's next? Am I gonna have to pay an extra $18 for the privilege of getting a set of very slightly modified ARR gear in a specific color that could've just been dyed? Am I gonna have to pay an extra $18 to get every single permutation of that outfit as a one-piece?

After reading this I went and looked at the outfit and now I'm a bit confused by this complaint. It seems like there are two versions (both have the sleeves "rolled up" by the way, so I'm not sure what that specific criticism was all about). There is a version that shows more skin (on the back and legs), and one that doesn't.

I don't see the problem here as there are probably players who prefer one design over the other and are happy to see a choice available. There is, for example, an older in-game armor piece that I absolutely love, save for the fact that it has a big skin-window on the chest (which, in my opinion, looks odd on male characters). For that reason I never use it as a glamour. Now, if they had offered a version of that armor which omitted the chests skin-window I'd be ecstatic, although if it was the only version available then there likely would have been players disappointed that said skin-window was missing from the design. This recent shop addition seems to solve that dilemma by providing two similar versions of the same outfit.

I suspect the hat and gloves are sold separately because they match either of the two belt sets, and I think the idea is that the entire outfit is supposed to cost $22. It has simply been broken down into separate purchases rather than being included into each of the two sets and driving up the cost of both (which is financially convenient for players who are only interested in the hat and gloves). I don't think they intended for you to buy both of the $18 packages on top of the hat and gloves.

You need to ask yourself whether you personally having the option of toggling between showing or not showing skin on your character's back and knees is really worth the extra $18 and maybe just consider buying only one of them, if the cost is really bothering you.

B.) A Outfit which has usually 1 Pants 2 Chest 1 Hat 1 Shoe and 1 Gloves costs around 17,50€ (Example here the Streetwear Outfit, it had 2 tops or the urband one which had 2 Tops too) Big Costume Bundle

Now we have 1 Outfit which falls in Category A because it has only 1 Pants and 1 Chests costs 13,50€ so the same Price as a usually Glam would cost BUT now it doesnt involve the Hat and Gloves this are additional costs which means we are at 18,50€ which is 1€ more then a "Big Outfit Bundle" costs and 5€ more then a small Basic Bundle costs.

So to get the full Outfit even if you only want ONE of them you have to pay 5€ more then usually and you have to pay 1€ more then a Big Bundle would cost while still getting less out of it

Short answer : They increased the Price atleast around 30-40%, so it doesnt matter if you want it or not, if it looks weird or not, what matters is the dramatic price increase

Ok, I don't purchase outfits from the shop so I had to look over some examples to see what you mean, but I understand your complaint now. Up until this newest release the complete outfits have typically been priced at $18, and complete outfits with alternative options have been priced at $22. But with this newest release a partial outfit is now priced at $18 (this is new), the complete outfit is $18 + $6 = $24 (this is $6 higher), and a complete outfit with alternative options is $42 (this is $18 higher).

So, that is a definitely a hike, although I would point out that rather than simply offering two shirts there are more alternatives in each bundle than normal (the shirt, pants, and shoes provided in each set are all unique), which may be why they went with separating them into two separate packages. But if we figure that each component is normally $3.60, then you could argue that getting everything (all 8 pieces) should cost no more than $29.

As others have said, I just wouldn't purchase them in protest.

Took them a while. If I recall correctly, they were famously bad about patch updates, to the point that you could have 10 months without anything new going on.
