The Belt-Leather attire needs to be treated like a breaking point for the community

When was the last time a mogstation costume is worth the money anyway? Nope, the street wears and cosplay items aren't. It has been forever since they put out pretty sets that isn't lazy slop that cries for your wallet money. The last set deemed to have enough effort imo was the Shinsengumi-like set (I don't rmb the exact name, the one with a headband)

It should be one set with both shirts, pants and boots included as well as the gloves and hat for $18. $40+ for separate pieces is insane and greedy.

The real kicker is none of the money generated from this will go back into FFXIV. It'll go into Square Enix's next gatcha mobile flop, or the next AAA flop with clunky gameplay. The money will go into funding Kingdom Hearts 4 which we won't see for another 5 years minimum.

Square Enix doesn't seem to realise this game keeps their lights on. At least Blizzard realised WOW was the real cash cow and are now pouring money back into the game

Because people with more than one brain cell understand that this hidden price increase will affect future cash shop offers.

Also, yes, this is optional, but so is playing the game, so is my subscription, so is my participation. You can not let such things slide and expect an MMO to work. With more and more issues coming up, more players are leaving and the game will fall apart if this keeps going on.

I am having a difficult time supporting this company if they kick us in the balls every other month.

I don't have to defend a 'terrible practice' but I do have to point out that there are actually two full sets of gear (chest, legs and feet), and that no other glam on the Mog station has two of each. So, yeah, $18, not $42. (or $24 if you want the glove/head combo, or $6 if you only want that).

The arguments against glamour gear on the Mog station are pointless. It's been over eleven years since the Far Eastern Attire set debuted in 2014. And you think anyone at SE is going to listen to you at this point in time?

i copy and paste my answer from the other thread just for you :

The Streetwear Set had 2 Tops too and did cost 17,50€

Now the new set which has 2 different pants and the shirt looks the same (i dont take color in consideration because you can dye it) and instead to put it in a bundle for 17.50€ like the streatwear they deceided to split it up now we have :

13.50€ x 2 = 27€ + 5€ (Hat and Gloves) 32€

If you now deceided to buy only one set it still would cost 13.50€ + 5€ = 18,50€ which is MORE then the streetwear and we get LESS from it because the streetwear was 2 tops, and glams which has 2 tops or 2 pants are usually around 17,50 while glams with only 1 of each costs around 13.50€ so in other words for the price a "normal glam" usually costs we get a glam which doesnt even involve the hat and gloves anymore


Since a costume with only 1 piece each costs around 13,50 usually this is a price increase (if you only considering one set) of around 5€

its not about if i want it or not, its about the fact if we dont do anything against it square will start to be even greedier

and we are talking about a game which we have to BUY and pay a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION
there shouldnt even be a shop, and the worst thing is 90% of the cool good looking glams are in the Store.

I'm fine with mog station outfits, whatever, cool- but recently, it's just been bleh.
And as far as the newest outfit, the wild thing is, is that we have outfits in the game that look like this already. I always see players wearing t-shirts with the suspenders, so they paid real money for something that already existed in game, and it still looks just as bad.

It's like when they released Y'sayle's outfit without her hair, which would have been the only selling point, because her outfit did not age well and we already have her outfit in game, that you don't have to pay money for.

'the reason for no borked tower normal mode is cost' as SE is in the process of employing heavy machinery to more efficiently throw money into the fire.
