Beyond the rest that I do agree with, I have to admit that this piqued my interest: I could potentially see this as well, but would you have examples to give, or could you elaborate on it? I'd like to hear more of your opinion on this?

Sure! One clear example is the visual and aesthetic bias between male and female characters — female options often receive noticeably more care and polish, with a broader variation in body and face types across all races. Male characters, on the other hand, often feel stale, neglected, or rushed in design. Emotes, idle poses, voices, and how glamours look on them tend to be less expressive or flattering.
Some races do have higher model quality overall. Just take a look at every female Au Ra or Miqo'te face and compare them to the younger male Elezen face — especially after the graphics update. They somehow managed it to look worse, which honestly gives the impression that they just didn’t care much for that one. You really get the feeling they have favorite races that get noticeably more love and effort.
And let’s not forget that some races have been at a disadvantage for years — like being unable to wear most hats or use many hairstyles.
It’s no secret that the dev team seems to enjoy designing for female characters more. Sometimes I feel like the whole game is just made for small female characters and Lalafells. xD So much stuff clearly only looks good on them, while the rest gets left behind.
And don’t get me wrong! I love the cute stuff — but I don't like that there’s barely any male character option that truly fits that aesthetic, unless you’re playing a Lalafell.
And people who don't like all the cute stuff deserve more versatility, too.

NEVER ENDING GRIND
MISSED CONTENT OPPORTUNITIES
I think SE has missed a lot of opportunities when it comes to its old content. Give you 2 examples:
BLU-Mage: When it was first announced, almost everyone was excited for it until the live letter the next day. Even as a limited job, I think it could have been used in more content. I hate Masked Carnivale. Outside getting my I-130 item weapon, I don't do carnivale. I would have loved to seen BLU-Mage be used in Deep Dungeons, Squadrons, Eureka, etc. Outside of getting new spells for BLU-Mage when SE updates it, I don't play it. Should have just made it a regular job.
SQUADRONS: Getting more ranks in GC via of the Squadrons would have been great. I wish they would have more dungeons, more rankings, more GC items, more Squadron buffs, etc. Even though they are OP & dumb as a box of rocks, I enjoy playing with the Squadrons.
Even though those 2 content come to mind, there is probably other old content that SE could revisit & innovate to make better.

Restore old meshes.
Seriously, there was no need to homogenize the face meshes other than pure laziness. It ruined more than half the faces, and they're still ignoring player feedback about it and saying "this is just how it is now, deal with it."
