So they decide to keep the lottery system but highlight the participants and thus make possible threats, tantrums and hostility more likely? Ok, seems great

Not really? If you enter a random instance and someone says we're a premade you can kindly tell them to go queue together on a different instance while you all play with randoms.
It's hard to tell if they want more or less people clearing content. They released one of the easiest ultimates and savage tiers they've ever made not too long ago, but apparently DRS was too accessible and they had to cut down on the number of people clearing? Why the dissonance?
Personally for me, the premade fix is going to be too little, too late. Apparently it will happen 7.3 and at that point it's pretty much old content; I don't know about anyone else but on patch week I'm doing msq, doing the new EX/raid and anything else they got going on. It will just go back to being Discord content again.
I'm glad they said they were making the two different versions in the future, but this one got tossed in the bin. Slap the TT card on an NPC if you're gonna do that.
This is - again - just self-justification for treating other people poorly.
There's deliberately wiping a group - that's called trolling.
And then there's entering a group that the game itself tells you you qualify for, and having 47 people accuse you of being inconsiderate for not "being at their level."
Whose level? What level is "good enough"? Group A told me it was level X, but Group B told me it was level Y, but group A has 6 players BELOW level X who are real-life friends with the mod of their Discord, and Group B says I meet the requirements in ONE class, but not another, and am therefore a d-bag! What's the socially agreed-upon metric? What's that, there ISN'T one? It varies from group to group?
But the game said I could enter! With randoms! For fun!
What you're putting forward here is that someone has a MORAL RESPONSIBILITY to keep track of 47 other people's individual progress, any potentially-random group's total POSSIBLE progress, and also potentially just PSYCHICALLY know to already be in their Discord before clicking on an open-to-all instance and, if they don't, THEY'RE the jerk.
C'mon, man. We all KNOW the difference, here.
Ganging up - with 47 others, no less - and railing on Timmy The Newb for being a morally reprehensible excuse for a human being just because he had the temerity to click the "enter" button to try the thing the game told him to try is not somehow "morally right" because your group is bigger than his group of 1.
I get that you're trying to convince yourself that enough people are SAYING that it's okay to treat someone that way to make yourself feel better about doing it - but it's not.
If you're told "hey we're a 48man premade and we're looking to clear and would appreciate if you stepped off the platform", there's no "keeping track" needed, you just use your braincells to discover that maybe you should organize for high-end content. And yes, you are an entitled, leeching and antisocial jerk if you do join regardless.
This LL literally addressed that they'll let you enter with a 48man premade into the instance. Yoshi-P literally said people were meant to self-organize. Your point is moot.
Maybe he meant self-organize within the game within the instance with people speaking to each other in-game.If you're told "hey we're a 48man premade and we're looking to clear and would appreciate if you stepped off the platform", there's no "keeping track" needed, you just use your braincells to discover that maybe you should organize for high-end content. It would have been nice had he clarified, but that isn't his way.
The entry requirements made it clear this was to be self-organized within the game and not outside of it. Even the Discord groups have noted that doing so is an "ordeal" and a "nightmare."
But self-organization didn't work well either, so they've changed it.
Meanwhile non-raiders are doing the "where's my stuff" Travolta gif.
