Because to YOU they represent that you had to slog uphill in the snow both ways in a blizzard to get them, and you're proud of all the hard work you put in to get what is essentially a glam weapon. Happy for you (truly).

For me, they were a PitA that wasn't worth that much of my time, effort, attention, and resources... and being able to get a nice glam weapon via a more streamlined method (in EW), was awesome. (And yes, I got my first Manderville EW relic before DT, so I did have to put in a good bit of effort into it getting the special tomestones for the materials, but regardless, if I was going for it now I think I'd still have to go through the Manderville questline to get access to it, right? And even if not, it's been out-powered (just like all the relic weapons) now, so it doesn't matter to me if others have a bit easier time than I did getting it. I keep mine because it reminds me of going through that part of Manderville quests (the first time I totally loved them, I hated ARR Manderville), and because it's danged pretty and I like the colored glows, so yay glam it is, for me.

I still haven't finished the Anima weapon series, because it too was a PitA. Eventually I might, because I want the minion you get from it, but I just don't care about the weapon itself. *shrug*

I did the same thing - deleted every single one of those once I outgeared them aside from WHM since I just keep my WHM stuff. There were a few stages I like as glamours, but no attachment to most of the weapons themselves.

I definitely still have the various completed and half-completed relics from other expansions though, even if I'll never use them on glams.

Because they look better? The Manderville relics all had the same design. So lame.
