Its pretty simple like someone said earlier its hard to tell without using the Plugin for it, if you dont like to use it permanent i would still suggest try to install it and give it a few pulls to see your average dps so you can judge it better, its the fastest and best way to improve because the combat log ingame is just way to restricted, you cant see properly if you clipped, you cant see properly if you burst is in all buffs, you cant see buff delays etc etc etc etc no need to use it permanent but if you are unsure about your dmg you will probably not find a workaround for it

Square made these dummies, because people ask exactly same question during 2.0 and it is the best we have and I don't think it gonna change anytime soon.

Disagree with this bit. Just literally do all the basic things like mechanics, ABC, buff window alignment, follow advice from The Balance, use food, materia and pots and then you know it's not you. It's not rocket science.

If people are wiping to 10% enrage, it's very likely multiple party members that just aren't doing things right. Some party members literally only do 10% of the damage altogether usually - such as the tanks. So if you're at 10% enrage then it's as if one party member has done zero damage the entire fight.

You know in a lot of other modern Final Fantasy titles the battle results rank how you did in a specific fight. I think they can implement something like this into FFXIV that wouldn't be abused by the playerbase to grief each other, especially if it just shows your results and doesn't show a specific number. FFXIII has the star rating - why not something like that?

Who cares that they made them, they are useless, the fact that you posted about them just indicates you are either farming comments or square white knight.

There is no legal way to check how you and your class perform in raid.

The other issue with SSS is that is just a dummy. Its not making have to take into account things like mechanics or all the movement you have to. Its worse with healers because you have to map your healing which again dummies don't do damage to make you get used to it.

SSS Dummys are a joke.
Some of them are completely overtuned or require a different rotation to fit in that 3Min window.

That being said you can still use them to find out what dmg you deal in a dummy-scenario without the use of Third-Party progams.

Numbers are by far not 100% accurate but this should give you an idea about how much rDPS you deal with average players and full uptime.
