To be fair, it is true that it took quite a while for the lodestone to update after the patch (days), so that it was showing me as having previous tier gear. But it's been updating faster now.

Takes days for the forum image to change based on your current gear so I cannot expect lodestone to be any better.
But what can a small indie studio do?

The melds do a LOT of difference, the F you on about? hahaha.I would totally kick somebody coming into PF who didn't have the decency to come prepared.

Regardless of OP's gear or mindset, they're not really wrong. MCH needs a buff. Unfortunately this behavior will never stop bc it's just kind of how MMOs are.
Fights are undertuned like last tier = "Too easy, we want harder content"
Fight has meaningful DPS checks = PF gets walled, blames it on job balance, locks non-optimal jobs from content despite PF groups not being good or consistent enough to take advantage of the better jobs anyway
So it goes. There's no real fixing it outside of straight up removing enrage timers.
The damage difference between jobs in this game has always been really small
It’s just that since no job (except arguably SCH) offers anything beyond damage because utility doesn’t exist in this game tiny damage differences are made to feel larger because jobs have nothing to justify themselves beyond their damage
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
Not sure what that first link is trying to prove.ERMMM?????????????????????????????

I never argued about melds not doing a difference? You must be ESL or something considering your reading comprehension is quite lacking. I simply pointed out that whether or not I have melds do not have anything to do with being locked out of PF because there is no setting to lock someone out based on their melds. U can, however, lock them out based on their item level or their class. Being kicked out is a completely different matter.
What part is hard to grasp here? Want me to ChatGPT it to you like you are 5?
If MCH does similar personal dmg as SAM and BLM, BRD and DNC do same raid dmg as melee and SMN and RDM do maybe SLIGHTY less than them because of rez i can guarantee jobs will not be blocked from pfThe damage difference between jobs in this game has always been really small

Only had a quick skim, but didn't see anything.
However, what if you made your own party finder listing?
You're not locked out of that.
my popcorn is good not gonna lie anyone want some?
