Getting sent back to my home world after logging out for couple of hours

It happened to me but that was because of the maintenance and have yet to be reproduced, maybe because the world (Exodus) I go to mostly from Seraph also has my main, maybe this only applies to worlds that don't have any of your characters in them?


They also had an emergency maintenance last night on all worlds that affected all the starter cities and most of the expansion cities that lasted like 10 minutes, maybe you were logged out say for example, Limsa and because of the emergency maintenance, they sent your character back to Seraph. You couldn't access those affected cities during the maintenance and everyone that was afk there was logged off when it ended and I returned to Limsa to craft.

i have been traveling from seraph to sargatanas for a year or two and i never observed this behaviour until recently like couple days before patch and now after patch its everyday.

That's really odd, maybe this warrants a ticket to support to report it as a bug if it isn't a recent change implemented. I don't have that issue aside leaving alts in Exodus before maintenance. I had my Lala alt in Exodus all month before 7.2 maintenance and never had that issue, again, it could be because my main is also in Exodus along with another alt I have there.

how do you make a support ticket actually? i used the ingame "report a bug" not sure if thats what you referring to but they stopped replying to those tickets.

That would be just the ingame report a bug system. they wont reply to those

From experience reporting a bug (and it being fixed as a result), I can tell you they do contact you in the game about the bug report (at least, if it has validity like mine did).
