I thought that your suggestion would be implemented in 2.0.

Right now what they can do with the servers so that appears you have access to all market wards is to actually transport the character to the market ward area of each city. As indicated in the patch notes, if you do a search for a player that entered the mercantile house of gridania while in uldah, the player shows he's in gridania.

Really? Well that sucks!

I mean, its just a query grabbing strings from three wards, isn't it? It seems weird the servers can't handle a simple search.

I'm on the verge of considering to pay someone for his spot in the uldah wards...

they should implement a timeout on the retailers or something.

Most people just place a 999999999 gil item there and keep the spot forever.

Don't bother. I have tried buying retainer spots and no one with a spot worth anything is willing to give them up.

Luckily I finally sneaked a hole in the wall in the Mason's ward so some of my fuggin electrum can sell without we renewing the note every 24/hrs
