Do you still think FFXIV should be Monthly Sub Model ?

Excuse me, when did the game open and tell me "The New Outfit/Hairstyle Came Out! Please check this out, it is truly worth the $24 USD it costs for one singular outfit."? The game literally never actively advertises anything in the game that isn't something you can just get for free in-game or is just a Collab with strange conditions(Pizza/Bucket of Chicken). Events always have free content, or bought with Gil items associated with the event. I practically get ads for Warframe every time I see it listed on Steam, logging into it after an age essentially hits me with ads, and don't get me started on the Platinum Discounts that mega-incentivize you to pay money. There is also not a single piece of content locked behind the initial payment of an Expansion, the Expansion itself costs money yes, but nothing else in it costs anything more than your time.

Literally every time you open the launcher. (and you have to go through it to log in)

Also lol @ the other claims considering how mediocre not only the event themselves are but also the rewards.
