Ok, I am confused what you mean since I didn't use the word new. Do you mean that, from your point of view, they have always done Chaotic raids, they did a Field Operation in Endwalker, a Deep Dungeon in Shadowbringers, Variant/Criterion in Stormblood and Ultimates in Heavensward? (they didn't do any of this, we just have more content types overall now which is the point I was making)

I agree that it is a problem if it's not of a good quality, but I would like to know who is even saying it's not good quality. Do you believe the Chaotic raid is not a good quality? It received a lot of praise tbh. The aesthetic and visuals are always great in the dungeons and trials. etc.
You pretty much described FFXIV at this point
Kinda true on the story but that's really only the case if all you do is story.
We are getting hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of euros/dollars of FFXIV related merch and collabs
In F2P games, that merch and collabs becomes game features and content and progression, where you literally can't progress or play the game really without buying stuff. In FFXIV, you really don't need to buy any boosts or skips or mounts or anything. So there is a huge difference.
