Sometimes its a good thing to have "toxicity" and other negative traits

Look before you get started, yell, "Oh no, that's wrong. You should be nice at all times." I'm sorry, but that's wrong. I'm not approving of cruelty without purpose, but sometimes there is purpose in "toxic" or negative actions and words, whether you like it or not. It's a cold truth of the world.

I'm sorry but there are certain types of players that people shouldn't "yell" you're being toxic about, tanks entering dungeons with full mage gear in places over 50, no mits nothing when I'm sorry the game teaches you that through their quest/ novice hall there is 0 excuse for it past level 45 honestly. The same goes for healers not using Esuna anytime they can and only poping cure 1, and dps standing in EVERY AOE. This isn't saying oh you failed x mecha you bad get out nonsense, this is about average trash in the dungeon or alliance raid, etc getting them with common sense avoids that they should have known after level 30 max.

There is being kind and then pushing it too far, sometimes being all goody-toe shoes is doing more damage than someone saying a negative remark are calling out let's face flat-out stupidity. This leads to a zest pool of ever-growing stupidity, and yes I know you humans enjoy that and make jokes while you're no different but enough is enough. We have gotten to a point where the community would scream toxic if the guy was standing in the middle of the road and a person screamed to get the hell out of the road moron. It's not good for the game, and it's not good for the person if people arent toxic towards them they will never learn from these things that there is zero excuse for, there is a huge difference between entering "new" to a fight and not understanding a bosses fight and abilities/how to avoid those "new" abilities and someone who can't even avoid or do anything to trash mobs. We need a form of "natural" selection within the game to breed out the difference between bots/stupidity and people who have a real excuse of not understanding that can be trained to understand the fights. That is why we need Toxicity to be okay within reason to breed out that difference.

and yes it may not be stupidty which leads to why everyone can be every job on the same character is good on paper, but horrible in action
people are leveling these jobs just to level them, rather they enjoy the job or not the issue with that is if you don't care about the job itself YOU SHOULDNT TOUCH THAT JOB period, because your not going to care enough to bother learning that job fully

"You humans", is this a Chuuni complex or something?

I do agree with the note of using mitigations, but in most other avenues, the game simply doesn't teach enough, or at the very least doesn't do a good enough job of it, especially on normal mode / casual content. - Then you have the whole issue that.. This game is very adamant in not letting people fail. e.g., 90% of things at normal mode are done with absolutely 0 consequence whatsoever.

There is a place for toxicity, but toxicity isn't going to equate to natural selection. The only thing that will accomplish natural selection is the devs having some self-respect in their own content, insofar that it actually encourages learning, and not discourages it, which is what they accomplish on many occasion.

The word “toxic” is overused and lost all its meaning. No, it is not ok to be toxic in the actual meaning of the word (please look it up). What you are talking about is called “providing direct and honest feedback”. Btw, it can be done effectively without calling names and being rude in addition to it. Being rude is not effective, it brings anger and reactions which hide actual reasons behind frustration and advice/feedback is more easily forgotten or ignored as a result.

the average person, how many people here has come across that 1 tank or healer or even dps that no matter how nicely you try to suggest and say something calming like in AV eat a fruit to only get ignored, being direct and feedback only works if the person cares enough to try with the job they are playing most of them aren't and don't lol I mean some of the players you get in your party would literally walk into a snakes open mouth and go like "what happen" even when it was obvious and been told prehand about it lol

And what’s your plan? Yelling at them louder? Coming into their room, taking their kb and eating that forsaken fruit for them? If they can’t or don’t want to hear words, or decide to not act on them - then that’s it. You can decide what to do with your own time and freedom as a result. Some choose leaving the dungeon, adding to mute/black list, some ignore and carry on. That’s life: you either try to educate or you save your energy and try to switch circles.

Dude I'm like 300% sure you haven't ever tried it. FF14 players don't pay attention. They're busy watching netflix or a podcast, this is a cookie clicker side game. They're just gonna click yes without thinking.

When I was still playing the game I initiated a kick every 4 or 5 instances because someone was playing terribly and half of them went through.

This game doesn't hold anyone accountable because no one dares to kick anyone.
