"I came back because of the live letter" lmao.No I did. I came back because of the live letter, and another new in game social opportunity. I don't hold a grudge against the game. I'm one of those rare people who both uses the internet and sometimes changes their mind. Once e you factor in that you can use the forum for 14 days after your sub runs out it's was probably more.
But if you want to think a character posting on a forum is liar with no evidence and that they are lieing about a game, well I don't give a F.
It's okay to not be able to quit the game because you're addicted to it or just too attached, just admit it.
No, you don’t actually play the game. Look at the actual images from the game and see how that compares to the game that you play. Does it look remotely similar? THIS is the real FFXIV:I am sorry to say but first, no i dont know about those Plugins you talk about first, second i play for the game, i know those exist but those are cheating, i dont use this and dont even want more infos about it, if you cant even manage something like this, why would the player base want to stay.
that just means that square isnt able to manage there own terms. and this isnt really encouraging to stay in the game because it proves the inefficiency of the company to manage a crisis.

XD
Fair enough. I maybe see your point.
But genuinely, I saw the positive in the live letter. It worked for me, and when it comes to a game. That's all that matters.
(The crafting moon thing seems like a total waste of dev resources though. Everyone is just going to macro it or worse. Right now it has all the appeal of putting on the dish washer, but a lot more useless. But its early days. We should wait and see.)
SE is either blissfully ignorant or they just don't know about it. This stuff does not happen in Japan and i think they don't really care what happens in the west. Yoshi P didnt know that RMT was an actual thing until 2019 or so when he has seen an actual in game shout advertising it lol.
Imagine a new player wanting to get invested in this game and the first thing they get is a 18+ NSFW ad to the face xD
Most players just get the hell out of there instantly. This is one of the reasons why not many new players, that actually want to play the game, join the game.
I have a few friends that even quit because of the new stigma this gamd has nowadays. They find it very disgusting knowing that they actually just play a NSFW game in the end.
What if you'd find that in those parties there are GMs hanging out instead of getting bored reading chat reports where someone says ‘you play bad’ or keeping up with people using crafting and gathering plugins. Ads and participation in those places is active and spammed everywhere (and I remember a while back there was a huge event in NA for parties/ERPs). Everyone knows what goes on there and so do the GMs, probably playing and spending an evening away from the drama. With mods FF is probably the most explicit online game by a mile, how I'd imagine second life to be if they brought out a 2.0 and the default assets were Final Fantasy themed.
Some venues even have their own mod packs.
Clubs openly advertise what's necessary in their discords or online games to see each other in a different way.
I am surprised SE hasn't had GM's join the groups and just go on ban sprees.
Another thing i read about and is supposed to be working quite well is to go into night clubs with all the "things" installed and take a screenshot and send it to the GM task force. They are forced to act because it is enough evidence that justifies actions. That is if you want to be really petty xD
Then the ban is also necessary for those taking those screenshots because they are using third-party tools that are strictly forbidden by the ToS. Trying to be a defender of justice risks going over to the other sideAnother thing i read about and is supposed to be working quite well is to go into night clubs with all the "things" installed and take a screenshot and send it to the GM task force. That is true unfortunately. Still happens from timw to time apparently. Probably just using a free trial account that doesng mean anything. In the end only SE can solve the problem but they won't eo anything as long as it doesnt become a problem in Japan. The Stalker tool that recently popped up is supposed to be taken action against in 7.2. But i believe that only happens because it also affected the peace in Japan. And we don't even know what they plan on doing, because they didnt reveal anything.
The biggest mistake is to think that these things only happen in the West when on two occasions in a row for World First we saw the first team close it using plugins (and both times Japanese teams). The problem is not a problem if it is not taken into account is it? Even using a Free Trial account proves that you are using third party tools, so you created an account just to violate the ToS, and it doesn't guarantee that what you show in the screenshots is authentic and not manipulated by you. You have to prove that people are using plugins, not just a screenshot that proves you are using them. That is true unfortunately. Still happens from timw to time apparently.
