Indirectly, sure. They exist to extend the lifespan of the content and I think that's fine. I'm glad a savage tier lasts longer than a week because there aren't many things in XIV that do. I'm sure running out of content too quickly isn't a concern when you're still in Shb though.

I don't know why you're trying to be clever when I actually quit FFXIV for many years because raid lockouts have been a problem since its inception and they haven't gotten much better after 10 years. You're just proving my point by pointing out that I'm intentionally staying a couple of expansions behind because the endgame loop is atrocious. It's hilariously depressing to come back and read the same complaints.
