I figured I'd support the hat thread too.

It's odd I feel like even if we can't get in-game new hat gear, at the very least SE could re-do hats and hair for paid cash shop items I paid for like un-gender locking progress so far. I mean I'll never get a refund for the money, but at the very least, I should be able to use the paid items on my main.

Clipping was always an issue, why can't we have hats? I'm really hoping we get SOME hats on 7.2. At the bare minimum, Matoya's Hat.

I don't care what it takes, it's been 5 years. Just hire an intern for pennies on the dollar and get it done. SE can afford it, and should afford it, instead of blowing up money in crypto-currency BS

I agree entirely... I've been waiting many years for them to fix some basic things but it never happens. Nowadays it's all about the money and thats fine provided us gamers don't get the middle finger in the process... something that happens more and more with each passing year... :/

No, it's mainly that Square only has a few products that can reliably turn a profit, and they want to keep funding failures instead of reinvesting into those products. Funding issues are entirely the fault of the CEO and the board of directors(which includes Yoshida).

This is the truth. A CEO's and a Director's job is to make sure that the product/service is the best it can be, while maximizing profits.
Cutting corners and keeping the community unhappy to the point they leave in droves, is not keeping the product the best it can be.
Now, hrothgar and viera hats are lower on the priority list than, say, the abysmal writing we had for the MSQ (that at times seems to be written by ChatGPT), but it's part of the issue.

Its kinda one of the reasons playing viera can get stale for me. Might be a hat i like but nope. So im back to aura for now. At this point they should unlock all hairstyles wont fix the viera problem but at least u got more options.
