Of course, it only affects the EN client, we can't have the JP players disrupted because they forgot to translate the EN patch. We're lucky they even saw it since the EN and NA community is an afterthought to most JP developers, SE included.
It never stops to be funny how both sides are so sure they are ignored in favour to the other side, when in reality they are just equally disregarded at this point.
Remind me again which language they messed up translating attack names in, and which language and region shipped without being fully translated. Which language had incorrect lore from both the VA and the localization team in reference to where the giants live?
Which language had VAs with cracking voices and needed to be rerecorded months after launch?
The JP version at least is fully translated and complete as opposed to needing to wait weeks to get the text to be properly readable or waiting months for lines to be fixed and rerecorded.
It's crazy how only one language and one region has those problems over the other. Hell, we can't even get Live Letter translations in english to know what's Yoshida says is going to be in future patches. The EN side has to rely on amateur translators from reddit trying to piece it together for the billion dollar company.

Oh don’t get me wrong - En localisation situation is pathetic. I don’t think the jp devs are even aware to which degree, it always takes them by surprise somehow. And it is not even one region, not even two. It’s a hyge population affected. But it is not so they specifically treat jp people differently here. It is because the en branch is.. well.. like that.
but the grapes! they did fix the grapes... we should be thankful for thatI'm sure they did somewhere in Endwalker actually, quality control took a nose dive. For me the deal breaker was the ungodly amount of repeating textures in Labyrinthos and a whole cave with literally nothing but repeating textures. I saw some islands in ultima thule flickering in the background...
In DT I just see texture stretching, things not lining up that would be obvious had ONE person did a quick walk through the area. I wouldn't be surprised if alot of AI might be integrated into their work.

yep, same, i dont feel like it'll be anything other than at best a mix of diadem+firmament, with maybe a gun to nuke space enemies and a bunch of FATE tier things, all while mining a billion of an item that look exactly like: crystals, clusters, star quartz, mythrite ore/nuggets and a bunch of random logs in various brown shades.Too little, too late indeed. We're basically going to see this content when 2025 is wrapping up LOL.
That said (and sorry random rant), my problem with it is... Exploratory whilst I see value to the game, is their 1-hit-wonder, most of their other content just falls flat, and beyond a certain point, that 1-hit-wonder will be used so much and so repetitively that what was once excitement is just going to be apathy. Same issue that Deep Dungeons had to a degree.. At a certain point it's the same piece of content today, what it was 5 years ago with a fresh set of paint.
This is my biggest fear with the next exploratory zone, to where I don't know if I should be excited for it, or if I should be dreading it.
This is the content that will save Dawntrail, remember.yep, same, i dont feel like it'll be anything other than at best a mix of diadem+firmament, with maybe a gun to nuke space enemies and a bunch of FATE tier things, all while mining a billion of an item that look exactly like: crystals, clusters, star quartz, mythrite ore/nuggets and a bunch of random logs in various brown shades.
