It is worth noting that AST has a 1.5 second 'buffer' window whilst casting, which gives enough time to target who you want, then quickly retarget the boss.

Dragoon has no such luxury, so it is much harder to double weave, hence why a macro was used.

Not quite true. We usually use lightspeed for the burst and double weave play/draw/divination/lord of crowns/oracle, especially now that it has 2 charges.
