God yes, the quality of Duty Finder would increase significantly if you guys did this.
I'm really not sure someone who struggles with alliance raids and MSQ duties should be weighing in on the amount/quality of casual content this game has.

It's a terribly low bar to set and not fun for the majority of players, to target such a unique outlier.

I say this as someone who has a special needs player in my FC and had to help them complete the Feo Ul typing MSQ because that was their limit of difficulty.

I'm sorry, but it's a bit ridiculous to claim that because you're struggling with content designed for the lowest common denominator, and therefore choose not to engage with it, there should be some kind of casual strike.

This is entirely a you problem, not an issue with the game itself. You’re not being "scorned" by the developers; you’re ignoring the content they provide and then getting upset because hardcore players are enjoying what’s available, whether it’s "for" them or not.
aiders aren't the ones being picky about which content they do, therefore, they don't get "prevented" from doing anything the games adds.

That aside, why do you seemingly want players prevented from doing content?

It's an interesting observation. I've seen tons of people in the forums and on novice network complaining when casual content gets added, "why did SE spend time on content for the 1%" is a phrase I've seen a LOT. I don't think I've ever seen a hardcore player complain about the existence of content such as Island Sanctuary as a zero sum game where the hardcore player has somehow lost out on more hardcore content.

Then don't complain there isn't enough content while ignoring a ton of content the devs add.

I hope the devs do something to combat people who look down on unexperienced raiders and root for them to not play in duty finder. people will never get better at the game unless an environment is provided for them. and since you cant "practise" savage mechanics, its the players who need to provide it with patience and understanding.

Ironically, I think the reaction to CAR and the subsequent discussion here and elsewhere greatly decreases the chance that inexperienced raiders will ever become experienced ones. I certainly have no interest in attempting cooperative content with those who express nothing but contempt for those less-skilled than themselves.

Do you know who the best player in FF14 is? It's not the leader of a world's first static, or the player with highest parse, or the streamer with the biggest following. It is the player who derives the greatest pleasure from the game, however they choose to play it. Regrettably, that certainly isn't me. And I doubt it is a member of the gloating class who invest so much self-worth in their ability to press buttons in the right order, while sneering at others.

Counting the "non-casual" content we already have, by the time the expansion is over, with what we know of at this moment, pretty sure there'll be more non-casual content than casual content.
