Why do casual players seem entitled to cosmetic items added in game?

You’re making the fundamental mistake of assuming that people complaining, are doing so because they actually want the hairstyle, several people have issue with it in the basis of principle and expressed concerns with long-term rewards behind content with low shelf life. This does not mean they would necessarily want this specific hairstyle. If I wanted it, I would already have it and would already be wearing it. But it isn’t my style and nor do I find it cute. This isn’t 2013 with all the miqo’te Lightning hair enjoyers anymore.

You also can’t deny there is a large group of people in this thread who are basing their problems on this reward structure around the idea that the hairstyle “feels like” it should be something that is obtained from a casual gameplay mode
