But that's also your choice to not engage in such content. If the dev isn't providing the content you want, unsub and come back when there is stuff that you specifically want to do.
Or...engage in new types of content so that you have more stuff to do overall.
This is not about type of content. This is content difficulty.
People wanted more difficulty Alliance Raids apart from the normal 24-people-snoozefest-3-set per expansion.
What people didn't want was a 24-man Savage fight.
Also "this content is not for you" is very easy to say for High-end raiders as they have been given Savage, FRU and now Chaotic while the only casual content that was delivered so far is the coockie-cutter first-set-of-3 Aliance Raid.
As for Midcore content? The usual 1 EX fight in 7.1.
Woooow.
Face it already, DT has a massive issue with content, especially with how stretched full of nothing the patch cycles have become.
If a piece of content can still be cleared when several people keep messing up again and again, failing major mechanics and positioning, what exactly would be "difficult" about it? How precisely would a "difficult" fight look without mechanics that require basically everyone to solve them correctly?

It would probably look like an ARR/HW fight. If a piece of content can still be cleared when several people keep messing up again and again, failing major mechanics and positioning, what exactly would be "difficult" about it? How precisely would a "difficult" fight look without mechanics that require basically everyone to solve them correctly?

There are tons of ways to make content more difficult without needing to use body checks and still have it not be able to be cleared with people having no clue what they're doing. Like in P8S where a failed snake mechanic may not wipe the entire party but would result in damage downs that would make the DPS check impossible. Why not design mechanics in a way that allow for recovery or seeing further mechs (allowing for practice and then clean-up later) instead of making them overly punishing in content that isn't intended to be savage-tier difficulty? If people want genuine punishing fights that require full coordination, there's always Ultimate raids. If a piece of content can still be cleared when several people keep messing up again and again, failing major mechanics and positioning, what exactly would be "difficult" about it? How precisely would a "difficult" fight look without mechanics that require basically everyone to solve them correctly?
Of course I can't speak for every raider, but I expected the difficulty from chaotic to be from a faster paced fight, more complex mechanics that take more steps to solve, damage that actually requires mitigation, and a dps check so people can't just crawl over the finish line after 3 near-wipes. Literally an alliance raid boss fight, but harder. Body checks are only one form of adding difficulty.

if all the people unhappy with the game unsubbed you wouldn't be able to pop your instances. i had a peak tonight over on JP only to find the world occupied by average of 58 players 60% being bots at level 12. this was on every DC. asking people to leave a game they like instead of making the game better for them is like asking for the company to sinkThis is not about type of content. This is content difficulty.

that's ultimate raider mindset in 24 man mid-hardcore savagextremeI haven't clear it yet but I haven't have such fun in this game than chaotic.
I'm not very good at the game so I barely coudl do first tier savage, gave up P12S(it was too hard for me...) and love EXs but always thought the prog is too fast and quickly becomes a mindless grind for mount.
I understand the ppl not wanting bodychecks, not wanting to wipe over and over because of other but I rather spend hours and hours progging, wiping than get it done in few hours and repeat it 99times.
New 'types' of content? LOL..
I'm sorry but the game this expansion hasn't really had a new content type outside of raids for this expansion, and won't have such until at least another several months. You would have a fair point if they actually introduced new content types, or if those content types were substantive enough. There's nothing substantive about doing a Hildibrand quest or your weekly custom deliveries LOL.
Edit: Choice doesn't exist currently for a lot of players when the devs are going into a singular niche. This problem will be entirely reversed in 7.4 when people have consumed the final tier of raid, when they are scrabbling together wondering what they can do because they don't like or don't want to grind exploratory content. Wondering what they can do for the next year.
