the core clock (mhz)? yeah i tried -20 to the lowest for the core clock in afterburn, the game runs pretty poorly because of this and still crashes the same.

It's really strange that this is still happening to you with a new GPU.

One thing I do know is that the specific error is FFXIV-specific, meaning the error is "handled" within the FFXIV program and the FFXIV developers specifically wrote that error to appear in that situation.

I stumbled upon a person who had the error occur due to a faulty RAM stick they installed. Which seems totally unrelated to graphics or directX, but apparently can be a factor.

I stumbled upon another person that had it due to FreeSync, but since it's not an AMD card I assume it's not the issue.

We could try making some other adjustments to the ffxiv.cfg, just CTRL+F to search the setting name then change its value, then CTRL+S to save:
    Refreshrate 60
    Fps 2

    AntiAliasing_DX11 3

    SSAO_DX11 6

    DynamicRezoThreshold 1
    GraphicsRezoScale 100
    GraphicsRezoUpscaleType 1

    DynamicRezoEnableCutScene 1

i changed Fps from 1 to 2, DynamicRezoThreshold from 1 to 2, GraphicsRezoUpscaleType from 0 to 1, the rest were already set to what you mentioned, and it didnt work, i was in the world for 5 seconds and it directx error crash.

btw as for ram, before while playing FF14, it would be at 50%+ with 16Gb ram, but now i have installed 32Gb 16X2
