    At this point we should do the opposite to any PCT players and exclude them from being chosen because they are OP xD
    The weak unite.

    But the state of PCT is making me actually hate the Job and never wanna touch it ever again in protest to how its pushing other Jobs aside due to it is just broken overtuned xD

    Even if they nerf PCT -- which they should, they still need to buff other jobs. Nerfing PCT will leave a massive power vacuum.

    Whenever this topic comes up my answers will always be yes but don't nerf pico to rdm/smn level of dps. Pico should do a lot damage(more than the two rez casters) because it doesn't have a rez. What picto offers the things a melee with a buff offers, a 2 min buff, and a shield/healing utility. So Picto IMO should do the same dps as a nin,rpr,mnk, and drg while blm and vpr should be high since they don't have buffs whatsoever and smn and rdm should be below bc of the rez. The reason why I say this is if you do nerf Picto and you nerf it to be closer to smn/rdm then there is no reason to take a picto so you have the opposite of what happening now. If picto does same level of dps as the rez mage then ppl will just take a BLM or 2nd melee for the flex spot and a rez mage for the caster spot since ppl value the rez over dps any day. Also, I looked thought teams that clear FRU. picto was in every team yes, it seems rdm was there also showing that ppl will always want a 3rd job that can rez someone. Now picture if picto didn't do the dps it does now and was closer to smn/rdm...would anyone take picto over a smn/rdm? No, I highly doubt it. So yes Picto most likely needs a nerf but not a huge one, it just needs to be balance she its amount the melees that can buff the party.

    The thing is, PCT does have Starry Muse to buff the raid party's damage by 5% every 2 minutes. It's even a more consistent buff compared DRG's Battle Litany increasing Critical Strike Chance and RPR's version is just a 3% increase. The Starry Muse buff number would have to be reduced to justify them being at or higher than the RPR's personal DPS. I do agree PCT does need to do more damage than SMN since they have the 5% damage buff AND a Raise. I will have to rewrite my position for RDM earlier since it turns out they also have a 5% damage buff for the party from Embolden in addition to the Verraise. It's hard to count the heal from PCT's Star Prism since it will always have overheal at the start being tied to a high burst cooldown. The heal needs to be moved if the devs want the effect to still exist. Maybe Holy in the White could heal a random ally with missing health?

    Whether RDM or SMN should be in the middle is a hard debate because SMN's heal aura is tied to a damage cooldown whereas Magicked Barrier can be used whenever. The Phoenix heal aura can cover for any damage taken whereas Magicked barrier only reduces magic damage by 10% with a heal increase of 5%. The 2 of them might just be close to tied with all of that considered. If we consider Vercure as the tiebreaker, we actually have Radiant Aegis to look at too.

    Well, I don't mind if Starry Muse gets nerfed to 3%. All I care about is keeping Picto above Smn/Rdm in DPS bc I think it deserves to do that much damage since it has no rise. Also as for smn and rdm, I think they are way too similar now after the smn rework. My biggest issue with the caster role in EW is bc SMN and RDM seem to even and bring nearly the same things into a fight.

    I also think Magicked Barrier is much better than phoenix heal bc at least you have the freedom to use it where Phoenix is always going to be every other odd min(which is even worse than EW when it was at least every odd min). I will be honest as an SB, and ShB smn main I rather keep smn at the bottom just bc I think the job was ruined by the devs rework and doesn't serve to be good ever again...its a shell of its former self.

    Lol once picto gets it nerf. Well start seeing forum threads like square is trash for nerfs, square cant buff for crap, picto is dead, can we please get picto nerfs.....community starts stuff then back pedals on devs when it comes to nerfs they asked for. XD

    I guess that could be a comparison from SSB Brawl, although the Ice Climbers were also just as guilty as Meta Knight too. They changed the meta to be campy because they could chain grab you from 0 - death. The opponent also had to heavily separate the Climbers too because it can just require one of the two Climber models grabbing you until it is game over for that stock life. Usually you needed either range or speed on the attacks to accomplish separating the CPU Climber before going all in. This meant most of the heavies and some rushdown like Bowser, C. Falcon and Ganondorf were out and couldn't win.

    Meta Knight could just keep flying and poking with hit and run shenanigans to separate the Climbers. The Climber players obviously complained about always getting camped by jumpy hit and runs, arrows, charge beams, etc. while also downplaying how dangerous their grabs are being equivalent to 2 players teaming on one.

    (kidding) A similar complaint wave could happen if Square responds to PCT's status by almost never offering downtime in the fight and increasing muse cast times. That way they are forced to draw muses and doing zero damage during uptime. (/kidding) We should aim for some form of balance with different fights so the classes with the right quirks can slightly shine too. It's also why I mentioned Starry Muse's buff number so it can be discussed with personal DPS. We already have a few other 5% buff numbers after all.

    If we go back to Brawl for an example, the Bowser players generally accept their fate of being comboed longer on a mistake as long as they have a chance to recover and read for shield breaks. Although Ganondorf may need more range or that N64 float on neutral B that mods have been playing with. We still required the "nerf" of making every character immune to grabs for 1-2 seconds after being thrown or released to save the presence of the heavies. As well as curbing the need to make everyone camp the Ice Climbers to death. That's not fun either.

    I mean they already ignore MCHs asking for buffs when their job isn't so much "bottom of the barrel" as much as "underneath the ground that the barrel is sitting on", so they can probably ignore PCTs whining that they're not dealing the DPS of 1.5 other characters anymore.
