Not aiming this at you, just bouncing off of that part particularly.The thing I find weird about statements like these is that FF14 already knows what to do with overpowered characters: Stormblood's entire premise revolved around attacking the Garleans from opposite angles specifically because Zenos was a one man army. And not even going that far, Endwalker's despair (mostly) worked because, like Zenos, the WoL (heck the whole crew) couldn't be everywhere at once.

But suddenly Dawntrail steps in and just has everyone standing there doing nothing and wasting time until the writers are ready to close off the plot because "We're too strong, if we took center stage there wouldn't be any plot" and I simply vehemently disagree. The WoL and the scions are largely reactive forces in this world, and all an enemy needs is a plan that's more than a step or two in by the time the good guys realize.
