I may be in the minority, but I don't want to spend any more time than I'm already spending on basic Society quests. It would get very boring very quickly. If I'm going to be spamming the same pool of quests every single day, I want them to be quick and easy so I can move on.

I suppose that might make me mid-core, just with nothing else to do right now. I'm guessing those criterion dungeons were not popular and didn't get a return on the development investment for midcores. I guess we will wait and see if they give us anything for the relic this expansion.

While I mentioned I have days where I can only play 5-10 minutes, there are many days I play a lot more (else I wouldn't have so many jobs at 100). So I agree we need content for everyone.
I mostly wish there was more to do because I completed everything except need to try extreme and savage. But wish we got relics and the other future side stuff sooner.

There is no excuse to wait 1+ year for relics and other grindy content when raiders and casuals get all the stuff they want in the first 2-3 patches of expansions.
You're a cute one. Hardcore raiders got NOTHING considering how piss easy the savage tier was. No challenge. Just a few days of prog, then reclears. Honey, we got nothing since the launch of the expansions MONTHS ago. 3 days of savage content is nothing. The first real thing were getting is FRU in a few days.

Casual and mid players got the story, dungeons, 3 extremes, a 24 man, and a whole host of casual baby content to tinker with. Savage hasn't been hardcore for years and it's insanely cute that you think it's meant for hardcore players.

I agree with you for sure. I think for me I don't care that this content is - well, whatever. Just 5 minute timewasters. I know a lot of MMO's have low-effort dailies that people can do, or ignore. So it's fine for those people.

I think the problem is we are lacking other content - so seeing this as an offering without something more mid-core feels bad.

I agree we have to wait for the back end of the expansion for a majority of the promised content while the first 2 patches feel light on things. I want more content to last throughout the whole expansion and not have to wait until the .3 patch for a majority of the features promised.

I did some quick calculations in my head. 7.2 is coming at the end of March or the beginning of April, which means if 7.25 is coming 8 weeks later (like patch 6.25) that would be at the end of May. All winter and all spring before there is a chance of getting relic content. But that's not all. Bozja field zones (Bozjan Southern Front) didn't release until 6.35. So there is a chance people have to wait another 4½-5 months for that. October 2025.

Shadowbringers was released on July 2, 2019, and Dawntrail was released on July 2, 2024. So it's pretty easy to compare the timelines. 7.15 is already coming later than 5.15 did.

Bold of you to assume that they'll maintain the current pace and not slow down.

It's possible for two things to be true simultaneously.

    1) Society quests are fine as is.
    2) The game needs more in-depth questing content that makes use of the open world.

I typically have 10-15 minutes between being ready for work in the morning and actually needing to leave for work. I cannot do a roulette in this time because most of them take longer than that nowadays, and if I'm leveling a DPS, I will still be in queue when I need to leave for work. I use this time to do society quests to get a quick boost of XP on DPS jobs and crafters, and I save roulettes for after work when I have more spare time.

People saying these quests are "too simple" or whatever have a very valid point, and I hope SE takes their feedback into consideration when designing future open-world content.

The first idea that comes to mind is an option between what we have now and more involved quests(or a single quest, possibly costing more allowances either way) that focus almost exclusively on combat/crafting/gathering. They should obviously give more rewards, but I'm not sure if rep should be one of them or if XP/tokens/tomestones would be enough.
