I am genuinely at the point that yes if you think asking for LITERALLY anything from dungeons is driving the casuals away then yes I’m driving the casuals away
Every single example in the forums where people have complained about the new dungeons being too hard has turned out to be a misunderstanding of the mechanical tells on their part “oh I can’t respond lightning fast I’m old this isn’t savage” “no but the boss has been holding has hand up to bash half the arena for 15 minutes now so maybe look at that”
If you can’t read environmental tells and at least move around to survive while the trusts at a bare minimum whittle the boss down then yes you should be getting walled by these dungeons and if that makes me a toxic elitist then I guess I am one
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
