I'm sorry that you weren't able to find the spot you wanted. Are you on one of the four new worlds recently added to Dynamis?I wish they would auto-demo FC houses with owners that own multiple houses. Just email the owner and give them plenty of time to transfer the house to a character that doesn't own an FC house. That wouldn't punish FCs that need to legitimately transfer ownership after the owner leaves. Honestly, it shouldn't be that hard for SE to enforce the 1 personal/1 FC limit. Somehow. Someway. Ever.
(Mostly I'm coming to this thread because I'm annoyed that my new neighbors are a bunch of ugly sub shacks. I tried hard to find a ward that wasn't full of shacks, which is tough to do on Dynamis. There goes the neighborhood.)
Yep. I created an alt on a new world so that I could buy a medium. Unfortunately, I wanted a medium in Goblet, and that's where the sub lords are buying up all the houses. I picked the plot I wanted in the ward that had a few houses that were actually decorated, because I enjoy checking out everyone's decor and occasionally running into neighbors, but as of yesterday, I'm flanked by sub shacks. The wards on the new worlds reminds me of the saying "the odds are good, but the goods are odd." Yes, there are a gazillion available houses, but it's no fun to live in an ugly ghost town.
Makes me glad Seraph filled up quickly so most homes are personals that are decorated around me. My FC also has a few other FC's around it that are decorated but I concur, seeing the sub houses are an eye sore.Yep. I created an alt on a new world so that I could buy a medium. Phew! I was actually thinking about deleting my last post because of how whiny it sounds: boo hoo, I bought a medium but my neighbors suck. So thank you for concurring. I also wonder what new players think when they see the sad wards on the new Dynamis worlds. Do they wonder what all the fuss is about re. housing? Does it make anyone want a house less? Who knows, maybe the sub shacks will solve the housing crisis by devaluing it entirely...
I feel that you are becoming upset about this a bit prematurely. It's unreasonable to expect other players to have their house decorated within a day or two of moving in, regardless of whether or not the owner is obviously a sub lord. I recommend trying to not let it get to you for at least another month or two.Yep. I created an alt on a new world so that I could buy a medium. Yeah, I realize I shouldn't get worked up about this and just enjoy my house for what and where it is. I could always move somewhere livelier after the other wards fill up some more. (The new houses are definitely sub shacks though - it's the usual pattern of a whole bunch of small houses with similar tags/FC names/owner names and 1-2 members all purchased on the same day. C'est la vie!)I feel that you are becoming upset about this a bit prematurely.
