lol this thread is like a mouse jumping into a snake pit

At least belgianrofl was funny... sometimes.

Actually, I don't often agree with Rokien, but I was really really disappointed at this too=_='

Honestly, people should take the Garlean Invasions into consideration. 25+ people go to the event, you can only see 15- more NPCs. This limits the content by FAR. Not only that, we are having NPCS help us in this. However now it's 8 players max. There is also the fact that some are DoH and DoL so the amount of things you can see at the battle field will increase even more. Open world events that are 24 hours long, especially after the patch... I'd expect over 50 players at hamlet defense at one time. If this were open world it would probably leave a horrible impression right after patch with the fact that people would only be able to see 1 or 2 monsters at one time.

thats ffxi it was an instanced it just didnt lock you out but it locked you in uless you telepoted out, but this stuff is being made for 2.0 with a better engine were just getting a taste right now and theres other games that did mass scale stuff and it was success.Did you ever play FFXI? Do you remember the beseiged events. SE can't do open raids. The lag is KILLER. I want to be able to see the mob attacking me
So what was wrong with Rokiens old thread on hamlet defense?
Hamlet defense sounds boring, there I said it.
What goes on in the forums stays in the forums.

How bout you wait to see how it is actually implemented, play it, and then whine about it.
