That's probably it for me then, I decided to stick around till 7.1 out of curiosity to see if they could salvage the garbage story.

If the Devs show no willingness to fix their broken game then it will die in a few years, why should anyone keep investigating time into a boring mmo when nobody will be around to play with in a few years time?

6x had extreme content droughts and not enough writing talent when the game had far more goodwill and interest. As it stands there will be a unsubbing wave within this patch or the next.

I think there already was, why else would they dip into their FOMO events like fall guys and the return campaign so early? Usually those are reserved for droughts to try to drag people back. I fully expect a rerun of the FFXV, FFXVI, Dragon Quest, and Yokai Watch events before 7.2 at this rate.
