    lol, the only response you ever use is this. A poll taken last year, by a majority of people who hadn't yet gotten to experience the bad instances of which FFXIV has brought to the table. Even more so, the complete number was not 80% even a year ago, and we all know that the number would change if the poll was able to be re-taken now.

    It was laggy (due to server issues), messy, and not a lot of fun. "massive battles to me is more on the order of besieged where there could be dozens to hundreds of people participating and lots of enemies. The current system is NOT capable of this.
    I don't expect hamlets to be massive battle, look how big they are, they are small.... come on now.

    But half the Server will surely be at those Hamlets + How many NPCs will be fighting with you +How many Beastman will be attending the fight= not pretty for the server.. even if it were to possible.. it wouldn't be playable because of the massive lag.

    5-10 npcs 15 players 10 mobs at a time(really hard to kill) they could have made it worked

    hmm they dont actually say 1 party per instance so it makes me wonder if more then 1 party will take part. I also wonder if DoH and DoL will need spots in the party as well because of this part.
    Disciples of the Land can help weaken the invading beastmen by collecting alchemical pots stored throughout the hamlet and delivering them, intact, to the militia quartermaster. Different pot combinations result in different enfeeblements, so communication with the front lines will be important when determining which type of enfeeblement is required when.

    Disciples of the Hand can help enhance the militia allies by crafting instruments of warfare with parts found in the hamlet, and then delivering the completed items to the militia quartermaster.
    Very interesting stuff indeed. Guess we wont know for a couple of days yet as I'm assuming the first 50 hours will be DOL/DOH only.

    And all you can say is "it was a year ago."

    But that data was what shaped the focus of 2.0. It's significant because SE wants a large population. So if they're going to do an unprecedented feat like rebuild a game from the ground up, for which percentage do you think they're going to design?

    The future of XIV isn't about who is playing right now. It's about bringing in people who weren't happy with what was released. SE asked their opinion, made a decision and set down a two-year road to try and ressurect a failed launch.

    It's in the PDFs. But let me guess, "lol, they're from six months ago." They're designing a Worldless model for cross server play that is dependant on instances. Without the content for it, what's the point in spending two years creating a server structure like that?

    Thing is FF is going to attract what kind of player... oh a FF PLAYER, THEY NEED TO STICK WITH THEIR FANS FIRST
