Out of touch? PLL

I am a casual player and the direction of travel isn't what I desire but I just do the minimum and play other games which is great fun and I am looking forward to PoE2.

After they changed Scholar significantly i just moved to dps and other roles than i enjoy and just found my happy place and just accepted the game moved on. I would spend more time in 14 with stuff to do but nothing appeals and I just have put myself in my the head space of enjoy the story and the casual content and moved to jobs that I find fun.

It is sad to see people upset about the changes or lack of things they like doing and I get the frustration. I do wish people wouldnt say uninstall or just dismiss others concerns it is dreary, unhelpful and at times can be toxic. I can only suggest as an option to play the game in a way you can still invest some time and that suits your finances as for me when the fun stops i stop and its worked out well as silly games like supermarket simulator has been fun.

MSQ is just going to be more Wuk Lamat stalking us, so this will be uninteresting.
I'd probably do the extreme and the normal Alliance raid.
24man Chaotic will just be more content locked behind discord, so a no from me.
Ultimates are uninteresting to me except maybe watching the race.
Hildi...well, that's something to look forward to at least, hoping the writing didn't suffer as much as the MSQ writing did.

I know it's just part 1 of 2, but...ah...I dunno...
It looks kinda bleak. Out of touch is probably the best expression to describe it.

I would've been happy with just a small acknowledgement things didn't go great with Dawntrail. A simple "Hey we got feedback regarding Dawntrail, and we're reevaluating things. I can't give specifics right now but I'll have more info Q1 2025. Please look forward to it." would've made me happy.

Genuine question here - have they ever used a live letter to address negative feedback?

There's a good amount of people looking for something akin to Bozja content. Not exactly Extreme-content difficulty, but definitely not Savage level due to the sheer number of players and adjustable ease through Lost Actions / lenient enrage or lackthereof.

With FRU and Chaotic Alliance Raids, they certainly fulfilled high-end hardcore raiders and midcore raiders. Doubly so for midcore raiders with the Unreal and Extreme to fall back on as well. Casual content seems pretty dead for longevity though. It's either Dungeon, PvP, Alliance Raid, or Mahjong.

I don't think 1 dungeon + 1 alliance raid + PvP series will last past a month or 2, give or take. PvP is probably the last option, and only if the changes to PvP are good enough to spice things up for more than an entire patch to keep it feeling fresh. Maybe I missed something and I glossed over them mentioning relics or cosmic exploration?

That’s basically what I’m saying. Im willing to give them a slight benefit of the doubt that this is designed to fall around BA level or so but 100% wouldn’t be surprised if they tuned it too high and it ended up like criterion 2

If they are going for something like AV level difficulty then that might actually fill the niche people are starving for

I'm disappointed because after PAX East a few months ago, I really had hoped that Dawntrail would offer more midcore content both in terms of commitment level and difficulty.
The expert dungeons, trials and normal raids were fun as long as people's item levels were low, but that time's over now.

My first reaction to Chaotic Alliance Raid was "oh look yet another thing to do for raiders". But giving feedback on this forum is like talking to a wall, tbh. Idk why I'm even still here, only few of my concerns have ever been addressed, and if they have been addressed it was because content creators talked about them. Bummer.

Its jover. All but confirmed they are throwing us scraps and focusing on their "attacks" and other projects. Maybe its time to pause sub. What a dissapointment.

Dawntrail released on 2nd July.
So 4 month would be around 2nd November. But they said 'mid November'. So it's also again more than 4 month, and then again with no fun stuff to do, for the majority of people, until maybe next year spring. (At the moment it seems like it)

I really don't understand what is going on here. Can they be so much out of touch? Or do they want to kill the game, and then say: Hey forget about all your progress and come into our new MMO, or whatever. Idk :c

16 weeks or four months would have been October 2nd. A mid November release puts the 7.1 delay at 19-20 weeks. Five months is insane for a game that already stretched its content extremely thin on a 16 week schedule.

So no chance for other people to participate anyways. /shrug
