With how many people they have working on the game it is pretty doable in the span of months. It would take a few months? Try a few years. I don't think you understand how their development life cycle works. It's not "rewrite a bit of code', before it even gets to that point, it would have to get justified ($$) and planned before anyone ever touches any code.
That would stack up against all the other requests that people have- such as instanced housing, the issues with DC travel, job redesign, and others.

They take a year to design a single ultimate, do you really think that reworking 5 + 64 savage fights + all the extremes, normal modes, unreals and rest of the battle content in the game can be done in a few months? They would have to delay an entire expansion cycle at least to only to end up with a half baked solution that crumbles the moment we introduce variables like gearing, powercreep or how the healing kit is not built for that kind of encounters
Bull fucking shit. Healer kits aren't that much different then any other MMORPG with fucking healers. They take a year to design a single ultimate, do you really think that reworking 5 + 64 savage fights + all the extremes, normal modes, unreals and rest of the battle content in the game can be done in a few months? They are in how oversimplified and generic they are. The kits have very little interactions, restrictions and effects compared to its other MMO counterparts and the more available they are (GCDs) the more generic and non interactive they become. If the healer role wants to live by its healing the kit needs to be more deep and diverse.
And that is not the only issue that the solution of "rework the entire game" faces
I main healer in most MMORPGs that I play, what you are spewing is bull. Healing is simple in most fucking games, wanna know the differences between FF14 and other MMOS with healers? 2 things. 1. In most mmos healers get 1 MAYBE 2 buffs they can cast (outside of shields and regens). 2. Most that have healers, healers get to heal in 60+% of the time in general instance content! (AKA 60% of every single fight not 60% of the dungeon/raid) In endgame content like high end raiding that goes way up.They are in how oversimplified and generic they are. The fact that in this game things like procs, proper caster placement, mana management are not a meaningful thing paired with the slow GCD already is a difference, on top of that a lot of MMO healers have heals with different effects other "heal for X" or that at least have interactions in their kit while XIV lacks of that, being most of the interesting tools a time gated resource not tied to the player performance. That is without mentioning once again the homogenization they would have to undo, other mmos dont have a Sage/Scholar situation where they are almost the same job (and funnily enough, the difference is playstyle is because a dps tool, ED).I main healer in most MMORPGs that I play, what you are spewing is bull. Then you should know how a rework that transforms the current XIV into that is not feasible in less than several years and how the healer gameplay is not just about how much hps you can dump, but how efficient you are to provide the most value to your party, be in the form of heals, buffs, CC or damage. You should know too how as you grow in skill you make more meaningful choices when healing that leave you with more time to interact with tools that are not healing and why those are really important and XIV fails on that front.and 2 Most that have healers, healers get to heal in 60+% of general instance content! In endgame content like high end raiding that goes way up.
