Level Sync feels worse every expansion

One of the most incredible pieces of advice I've seen on this forum. Literally just telling this dude to not play the game. Lmfao

Uhh, no? There's many forms of content in this game and not everything is necessarily going to be someone's cup of tea.

If I went and complained about how terrible Savages and Ultimates are because they're out of my skill range, do you think people would be sympathetic to my plight, or would they just tell me to not bother doing them and to stick to more manageable content?

Many, many people get by in this game without ever touching roulettes. If you can't manage that, that is your own failing.

Except hunt trains are more difficult to get into compared to dropping into a roulette, considering you have to get into a LS first, and you have to wait for one to happen to join up. Not exactly a good replacement for a duty finder dungeon if you ask me, even if tomes/hour ratio is better during a hunt train.

I partake in hunt trains just fine without any LS dedicated to them. Online hunt resources exist; make use of them. Or even just periodically take a look at the PF every now and then. That's the sort of thing it's there for.

External sources do not count, we are talking purely ingame methods here. But I'll humor it, just for the sake of it.

Hopping to find a PF party or having to visit an external website, and of course, waiting for a hunt train to actually be available is still a much higher entry requirement than opening your Duty Finder window and clicking "sign me up fam".

Also, hunt trains do not allow you to simply drop in when you have the time, since it depends on Mob Spawn timers on the server and can not be done during any free time window a player may has. So no, Hunt Trains are not an adequate replacement for easy drop in gameplay, even if their tomes/hours ratio is better.

Then your take doesn't matter. This is an online game, thus everyone potentially has access to online resources. If you are choosing not to use them, then you are just willingly handicapping yourself.

Most Hunt Trains I know of run over the entire DC, server hopping through everywhere. So yes, I do look DC wide. With this method though, Hunt Trains still only happen so often during the day, and may happen on times where I can not play because of other commitments like work.
People like being able to just drop into content when they feel like it, and Hunt Trains are not that kind of content, that you have to admit.

literally the most braindead content in the game, where everyone plays tanks with their 40% passive damage resistance or a healer and spams Medica 3 to pump aggro unless they have neither actually leveled.

I'd rather run Praetorium again in spite of getting locked to level 50 and not even having my AoE sword combo. It's also not good game design if people are not supposed to engage with one of the core features because engaging with it isn't worth it.

Agreed. To paraphrase Josh Strife Hayes, if you are reading about your game on Reddit or other forums, looking up websites on how to best play a game, or watch any content creators about gaming, you are already no longer one of the casual players.

Well, it IS the easiest way to farm tomes. Isn't wanting an efficient tome farm that lets you use your full kit the reason why you're complaining about roulettes / synced content in the first place?

Extremely low bar for "non-casuals" in my opinion, but everyone's got their own thresholds on this stuff, I guess.
