All you offer is baseless speculation while in reality every DC that has gained access to Aether has ended up losing raiders and having a less active PF. You have not demonstrated why the same thing would not happen to EU PFs.

It's ridiculous to think people who are used to their low ping would go to Aether to raid and have all this weaving trouble. NA also would not be used to their multiple languages (particularly French), while people in the EU region are used to dealing with multiple languages.

If anything, people from Aether might go to Light to raid because macros mean less messing around with waymarks at the start of the raid.

It's less of a culture class and more with people just being entittled/idiot.

I remember there was a time I was trying to get a clear, there is this player who messed up a lot. At first they applology and said because they just xfer from EU servers and they do thing differently.

By the end of the prog, they couldn't shut up about how stupid NA was doing it and why they don't use the superior EU strat. The party fail apart but I got my clear later that day.

The next day I joint another clear party on a different character, ran into them again and after a few wipes, they spew the same tirade and the party just disbanded.

A few days later I join another party yet on another alt over the weekend. Ran into the same character again ... and you can guess what happenned.


Frankly the only reason I didnt give that player a piece of my mind was due to the SE's "play nice or else" chat policy. So I just left without saying anything, and I would be lying that left a good impression of EU players

EU and NA players get on fine on Oceanic, this is a silly thing to get hung up on.

I've met plenty of rude NA players and EU players, never let it cloud my judgement of a whole playerbase.

For that matter, we've even got on fine with JP players there.

Honestly I was gonna say cross region should open up to Japan as well, I just understand there are more issues there so didin't wanna speak on it. But yeah absolutely Oceanic just kinda proves that a lotta silly notions people have about how chaotic it would be if the playerbase would be if they allowed cross region just evaporated when put to practice.

Oceanic shows how quickly the playerbase adapted strats. instead of the playerbase clashing with each other the playerbase just evolved and adapted to it.

You really think people on EU servers are going to deal with that ping just to raid on Aether?
Also the only DCs that gained access to Aether atm already had their own problems that Aether didn't really add much to (one DC was more RP focused, one was pretty lax in general, and the other was extremely low populated).

The uncanny ability to turn everything into an argument is the english OFs biggest strength.

As for me, I'd like this to happen since it's nice to not have to handle two characters just to play with the US folk. Also remove the travel restrictions entirely and start working on that regional PF solution instead while we're at it.

I'm not sure this is a really good idea for them to consider right now because as it is the NA DC people can't freely travel between NA DCs due to the restrictions that were put in with Savage launch. I don't think we need to look at adding more people to that problem until they have resolved the current issues.

Huh but this is not the same problem though? This will also let NA travel to EU so it's also less people on NA this is really not the same problem

IMO, I'd like them to implement regional solutions first to try and ease up on people using DC travel as means to access better PF.
