Account Action Review system is flawed. Where is the customer support?

I am not sure what he is trying to achieve.
He is posting here because he knew he won't gain sympathy or support from PvP forum.
GM do not act on a single report, and only ban people from accumulate reports sent by multiple players.
He is leeching on PvP is a proven fact already

I'm also guessing you are talking about Frontlines here.
I love Frontlines tbh, and I'm doing it a lot so I've seen a few cases of people not participating over the years. From people trying to 'hide' in certain corners of the map (which NEVER works, you will always be seen xD) to people camping nodes only, I've seen it all. So I can totally understand the annoyment of people reporting this behavior. Those people basically put your team at a disadvantage because you have less manpower getting nodes/ovoos or attacking ice.

You can't even excuse this stuff by claiming to be 'bad at pvp'. Even though Frontlines is about balancing fighting and getting nodes to gain points and BH respectively, if you are just going with the flow, you will do both at some point of the match. Even if you are not trying to look for a fight, more often than not you will find yourself getting cornered or targeted by one team or even both, forcing you to fight. And EVEN if you don't manage to get a kill or assist in such a situation, you still do damage that will be counted at the end. If you leave any FL match with 0 DMG points...you had to be actively avoiding battle. And that would be comparable to not attacking mobs in a dungeon and only avoiding aoes.

However, of course I don't know the OP and don't know if they were actually leeching in those matches. I'm not really involved in discord communities, but I know there are big FL discords around. And I wouldn't be surprised if mass reports for whatever reason could be orchestrated over those, which could also be problematic.

All in all, the OP has already gotten the information they were looking for from support, by them telling them the reports were made because of them 'not earning enough points in a PvP match'. That's all the information they can give out I guess, and to me that sounds like enough to know what the concrete reason could be. So I don't really understand what the problem is. Just don't que for frontlines roulette if you really don't plan to participate. Just try to do your best and stay with the party, nobody will chastise you for dying a few times. If you try to be helpful that's more than enough for most people. Especially in frontlines, the majority is still quite chill.

On one hand, glad to see they actually do something against griefers.

On the other hand, it shouldn't happen at all ; it should be handled by the game, by automatically lowering or removing the reward for underperforming players, to discourage griefing.

It's not the players' job to police other players, and GMs' time is wasted on checking the reports about little griefer #4387321

And about new players, again the game is at fault with how badly it introduces PvP. Add tutorial, a quest where players has to try some skills, etc. anything will be better than the current void.

(also yes, the GM system seems pretty limited, not evolving much since FFXI ; and not giving informations to the account owner is archaic)

Opening the map and having eyes on objective is more than alot of people do. Perhaps a ranged job could elevate that stress? SCH is pretty comfy, I use it whenever I want to relax abit, it doesn't require much effort either, see enemy grouped up? Pop the dot and spread it, run away. Done. It can be annoying if there's multiple SCHs with BH5 (scholar stacking). Or you can test other jobs.

I hope you give it a shot, maybe you find a comfy job. Perhaps you don't like PvP but want the glam from FOMO series or just EXP for leveling, I think you shouldn't be barred from that content but I guess maybe try to be more proactive than passive?

you were told that you were in a match for 12 minutes and hadn't received any points?
how is that even possible when you get iirc 20 minutes in a match for frontline

Games can end quicker if one team meets the win condition for the score. I've been in games that lasted sub 10 minutes.

I am not a frequent poster here, but I just can't help myself. As a PvP enjoyer, this thread is deeply satisfying. It's frustrating to see so many people exploit flawed incentive structures by sitting on their hands in what are clearly team-based activities. Watching the OP be so definitively proven wrong is pure poetry—sweet, sweet hamartia.
