Overall though this thread reminds me of why I enjoyed being a mentor in competitive games because the average player is too busy seething and malding to try and mentor anyone properly, the idea all competitive gamer are elitists is definitely blown out of proportion but your average comp gamer is definitely not suited to saying anything that would make you excited to try and get better at pvp lmaooo y'all twisted up

Deliberately afked? If you’re gonna make bold claims like that on here please feel free to post verifiable proof that I’ve “grieved countless games”. There are so many variables that come into play during matches. Lag, controllers dying, emergencies etc. if I ever AFKed in a match it wasn’t done intentionally. This is why I don’t play ranked matches and I don’t understand that elitist mentality of people in normal matches who expect and try to force everyone else to play at their skill level or become so triggered because someone is playing in a way they don’t agree with. If you lose a match, life will go on. I learned during the GARO event years ago that there are just too many variables at play and that if I would never be able to win all matches no matter how well I played, so now I just try to enjoy it and leave the ranked stuff to the pros. I would expect that level of toxicity in competitive ranked matches, not in casual gameplay. Literally some of you have no chill… the date and time stamp is my CASE IN POINT. Besides, even if that were true, CC matches aren’t more than 10 minutes, maybe you missed that detail in my post… so it’s not even applicable here. Don’t just come online and slander someone without proof. The fact you’re throwing down date and time from almost two years ago is a red flag in and of itself. So please, go ahead and be fully transparent if you’re going to be toxic, don’t be afraid to back yourself up.

This is a really fascinating phenomenon I see around the internet a lot: "There are lots of reasons this might have happened..." But they don't specifically say that is what happened in their case, so they're not technically lying. People who like to get up on their high horse do this a lot. They think it gives them plausible deniability.

Hint: It doesn't.

Especially when you turn around at the end and go "Even if I did AFK it wasn't even for more than 10 minutes so that couldn't have been the incident I got reported for!!" No, but it's evidence that you're a serial PVP leecher.

The GMs aren't stupid. Sure, they probably go through very convoluted methods internally. Sure, it kinda really sucks they cannot give you the exact reason why a penalty happened. Yes, it could be better. But they know how to read.

My guess is, you've been running your mouth while AFK in Frontlines. Multiple times, and multiple people reported you doing that. Which you shouldn't have been doing in the first place, and you got what you deserved.

The GMs are being vague because they don’t want you to know how you were caught/what’s tipping other players off. They want you to stop the behavior; they don’t want you to hide it better.
