That's a consistent issue with XIV, they'll have something that works and then try and do it again. We all liked the Hades phase transition, using the primordial light to fight his primordial darkness, so now every story cap trial HAS to have a "Boss Desperation" phase. People liked working together with the Kholusians to build the Talos while special music blared for the entire mini arc? Do it again in Endwalker while building the Ragnarok, right down to the music. Atleast they had the common sense NOT to do it in Dawntrail and just relegate adjusting the train to a cutscene, ofcourse they used smile which is an issue in and of itself.
