This Sena chick isn't doing herself any favors. I am already OVER IT. And I am hoping SE writes this character and her off into the sunset sooner in the 7.X patch series than later. Not everything revolves around bigotry. I didn't even know this song was so-called

That's a qualifier for some sort of deniability. It was pretty much inferred in the followup tweet of "Oh lots of defensive people." or some BS like that. Cowards like Sena are afraid to call out people directly so they use soft language which gives them wiggle room. This way (((she))) has the ability to backtrack if someone (((she's))) friends with or has the right combination of flags/pronouns in their bio dislikes Smile. "Oh well I said 'certain gamers' I clearly didn't mean you!"

"Plausible Deniability" is the term you're looking for. It's the new "go to" for SBI and the such. Hence why they weren't in the credits, even though you know they had influence. You know Kate talked with SBI and did crap they wanted.

It's got to be frustrating that so many people are fabricating these narratives to drum up controversy and then act outraged on your behalf when you're far more than capable of speaking for yourself. I'm sorry you have to deal w/ that. I wish we could all just get along.

They should also not hire individuals whom attack, slander, and generally make the company and it's workers look bad in every regard. I feel sorry for the good work of voice actors i listened to for a decade now that i have to turn away from and use JPN voices now. They deserve better.
Incredible how in all of these ten years there had NEVER been a voice actor communications problem, but this person has been shown to be hostile, spiteful, hateful, unqualified, and out right rude to interact with.
Despite all this, nothing has been done. In contrast, Susan Calloway was fired over LIKING a tweet, and she has done far more good for this game and was removed for doing next to nothing. Without insulting a single fan, ff14 player, or twitter goer.

At this point, I feel SE has to see that Sena is a PR and brand nightmare with how they've attacked other VA's and stirred up so much unnecessary drama. My hope is they recast, or diminish Wuk Lamat over the 7.X patch series. I can't see them really wanting to work with her too much moving forward.

Problem is from what I gathered Kate and Sena are allegedly "friends" - to what extent I do not know if they just know each other or more close friends but kate got Sena the Job as someone above mentioned probably through consultancy but SE will need to put Kate back on a proverbial leash and bring Koji Fox back to be able to do what you suggest

The song was alright but I wouldn't consider it a black gospel song by any stretch of the meaning
It seems a bit harmful to paint it as such, on top of Sena purposefully adding fuel to the fire labeling many of the community bigoted in some way merely for disliking the song

Overall I liked the music in Dawntrail, especially tuliyollal's themes

Being mostly out of the loop with the whole dubbing drama for playing in another language, I don't really have an opinion on her global performance (I've seen some decent lines, as I've seen some bad ones, like the horrible last fight ones - it's the dubbing equivalent of Marion Cotillard dying in "The Dark Knight Rises"). But everytime I see a twitter post from her, I feel like someone should cut her internet for a while so she could get a much needed breath of fresh air.
