"Kweh!" Chocobo improvement thread

I'd love a special pet emote for petting your chocobo and they lean down to be pet by you, and some mount action emotes (that some mounts have like the Megashiba) where the chocobo makes noises and you pet them. Also semi-unrelated but I hope they add in an option to toggle mount leaning because I haven't used my chocobo mount since the update because I hate how it looks with the leaning now, it used to be my top favorite mount.

Also gonna copy and paste my suggestion I left in another chocobo companion update thread:
It'd be cool to get some new abilities for your chocobo companion. Maybe teaching them their own Choco Meteor (that I know Blue Mages can cast) for the DPS role, Choco Esuna for the healer role (it gets annoying when I'm doing FATEs and get paralyzed or slowed), and Choco Cover for the Tank role (the Tank role feels pretty useless as you can easily steal back aggro by pressing your buttons normally, Cover would let you utilize the chocobo's tankiness regardless).

My chocobo has been rank 20 for awhile and while he's a pretty good ass-kicker and spot healer when I'm doing fates, I always wished there was something else I could do to make him even more powerful. I feel like I owe it to him w/ all the stuff I've drug him into. Something like points you earn after rank 20 to spend on an ability tree or something would be nice. It'd honestly be badass if our chocobos could do something like get a damage buff that turned them red while it was active and allowed them to cast choco meteor or ya know, something like an expanded system past rank 20. I love my murder buddy I want him to be more murdery w/ me

give us more chocobo race courses from newer expansions. expecially one like the pvp arena in sharlayan but more of a running track race vibe. go full mario kart and give us some wild levels.

I would love to see more chocobo racing content. Maybe they could add chocobo chariot racing in a hippodrome, (a chocodrome if you will) with seasonal tournaments and betting, making the playerbase more involved. I would love a less instanced experience where you're able to go watch chocobo racing from the bleachers and bet on who will win. Or what about a chocobo dakar rally? You start in Idyllshire and have to make your way down to the very southern end of the Sagolii desert. Take whatever route you want, but there are obstacles along the way like rivers or shrublands slowing you down, and monsters attacking you that hurt your bird so you have to stop to patch them up or they'll slowly lose speed as they get more damaged.

So many possibilities.

And, also it needs to be said: it's Wark not 'kweh' as the sound a chocobo makes! Wark wark warrrrkkkk!

I like the lean for flying but I agree it's too much when on foot. I don't want it gone completely but definitely it should be reduced significantly.

I always wanted a mechanized chocobo ... with rocket launcher, laser eyebeam and have it transform into an airship when flying :3

And while we are at it overhaul/enhance all spec and add physical range/support + magical range to the list, so that my chocobo make me feel like I'm being in a party with another player in term of efficiency.

Chocobo digging activity would be nice. Instead of gathering the usual two treasure maps, maybe there is a special map to do with your chocobo, and its like a hot & cold game? I only suggest this because FF9 and FF11 had this activity with chocobos, and they give special rewards for finding the spot. I thought that was fun, and endearing.
