    It’s amazing how many people don’t know how to use their brains in FL or pvp in general. At this point, I don’t know if it’s that they just don’t care or just lack brain cells.

    Had a team today in shatter, they went to team 2’s big ice, got pinched by team 3 and wiped early on. That’s fine I guess. Then it happened… 2 more times. Like how did you not learn after the first time? As for the second and third time, even warnings were given out. And I’m not talking about a few stragglers, I’m talking about dumb leading the dumb. Almost the entire alliance…3 times. Needless to say team 3 had lots of BH and the game ended faster. Thank you BH.

    I'd love for you to be right, obviously, but all the evidence I see on NA is pointing in the opposite direction. People would care about PvP more if the modes were more engaging. And I'd suggest people care more if they feel they're competitive. Mixing sprouts and vets stops that process before it has a chance to start.

    I'd agree with Olivia on this. Pvp skill level has skyrocketed in FLs over time. I'm not talking about veterans, but the average player overall. People are aware of pinches, I haven't seen a "let them fight" in ages as well. People listen to warnings or simple commands and are used to basic macros. I see attempts at going all in on the winning team near the end of a game if they're about to win. Doesn't mean it's flawless, by far, but i'd definitely say people are better, but it's something that needs to be cultivated and maintained, if you suddenly have every field commander person or even just macros disappear from the landscape for ages, then the whole mode will naturally slowly revert back to the most basic state.

    Interesting. As Olivia noted in another thread, the launch of DT saw a regression in the skill level on Aether, which was predictable. I doubt it'll rebound before 7.1. And then we expect changes. There is so much unexplored design space I really hope something positive happens.

    It's garbage. It honestly should work the other way around to give the worst team a leg up, but here we are. I've been graveyard farmed enough to know it's not a good system.

    Giving battle high to losers? So the strategy is to get killed to get them? Which means teams will not want to fight at all nor capture objectives?

    I'd agree it's a bit overtuned and I don't see why BH should increase health restoration, but even if it was a good idea to give higher BH to the losing team, how would you do it? A death gets 10 points? That'll produce novel gameplay. Just doesn't work, nor make any conceptual sense IMO. "I just got KO'd, now I'm stronger!" Why?

    We already have faster LB regeneration for the losing team. If SQEX wanted to give the trailing team(s) a bigger leg up, I could see that effect being further increased.

    People already don't help in Pvp. My issue is we try to push, and the enemy team is being fed by afk people who want an exp boost, and they eat Limit Breaks and barely lose any HP. I hate pvp as it is now. It's garbage, but it shouldn't be this bad. It's bad enough it's World of Stuncaft. These morons went and gave them god mode. I'm not kidding. I've watched a group of 5 or 6 people fail to even hurt a guy. He got away and came back. We were like ants to him, and his battle high.
    There's skill, and then there's a shitty system turning people into John Wick. I think these devs are morons.

    Stop being bad. People who whine about battle highs never pay attention to anything and it shows. They're always the first one to see the scary red dot and turn around literally handing their backside to the enemy only to then start sobbing about how that wasnt fair-well, maybe if you faced them and actually pressed your buttons to fight, that wouldnt have happened. I get so sick of people acting like bh5 is some huge wall. Just hit them. They die just as easily as anyone else. You staring with your mouth agape making fish noises when you see them is why you get your butt beat, not because they have bh5 alone. Literally just fight. Pay attention. It's the easiest thing in the world. Every FL is match is just about the same. Get tired of explaining this. Look at your screen when you're pvping. Promise you that's all it takes.

    "yeah but what about when the whole team-" yeah they all die just as easily still, pick one off. Wanna know how they got that bh5 in the first place? working together, its called teamwork. So work together with YOUR team and then YOUU guys will have bh5 too! Start with the AST/WHM/DNC usually, if it's a lot of them. Usually AST is your biggest problem. Focus and burn them down, they're never able to fight back anyway and honestly the amount of people who let them just run around scott free is despicable. That's how I know most of you don't pay attention. The literal easiest kill in the whole game who does the most damage to all of you, and everyone acts like there's nothing they can do but get wiped. Just kill the dang AST omg. Then of course, kill the drk as he's running toward you. NOT after he does the succ, he is always going to use that living dead skill to fight on 2% health for 20 years...stop letting it go that far, just kill him before he even jumps. If you cant kill the AST or the DRK then no, you don't deserve the bh5 anyway, and no, everyone else doesnt deserve to lose it just because you lack the ability to make informed decisions.
