The real pvp has never been in frontlines.People already don't help in Pvp. My issue is we try to push, and the enemy team is being fed by afk people who want an exp boost, and they eat Limit Breaks and barely lose any HP. I hate pvp as it is now. It's garbage, but it shouldn't be this bad. It's bad enough it's World of Stuncaft. These morons went and gave them god mode. I'm not kidding. I've watched a group of 5 or 6 people fail to even hurt a guy. He got away and came back. We were like ants to him, and his battle high.
There's skill, and then there's a shitty system turning people into John Wick. I think these devs are morons.
There's always the option of a partial revert:
- Everyone loses all progress of battle high upon death.
- The team that kills a player affected by battle high receives additional points based off the type of battle high the player has.
What this essentially does is replace the current comeback mechanic that's currently there. The LB gauge increase doesn't necessary work in cases where you have both teams farming yours while sitting in last. You need the golden carrot to be thrown elsewhere.
Do I see this coming realistically? No. Folks have complained about losing their battle high status in the past which is why why have the current system in the first place.
(There's also being petty and suggesting that those who has battle high takes at least an additional second of time out for dying. However, seeing that I have came from an era where going on your 4th death equated to sitting out for 20 seconds I would be in the wrong for bring back this horrible punishment.)
I'd be okay with removal of battle high. I feel as things are now it overall makes objectives secondary to kills in nature. So it feels more like a Death match with elements of king of the hill/domination rather than the reverse.
I can kind of understand it being a way of making people more active and not sitting on a node, but I think that just highlights map/objectives being inherently flawed designs and battle high being a bandaid on a bigger problem.
So if it was removed, I think they need to address the objectives, but also job balance too since it feels to me at least that BH is necessary for a reasonable time to kill...

If someone dare to 1 vs 5, this is a veteran who is very experience and comfortable in dealing multiple hostile targets.
On older Feast ladder, all top 30s pretty much has this ability (if they don't win trade)
Use below macro and all use abilities when Circle shows up.
/mk attack5 <t> <wait.1>
/mk attack4 <attack5> <wait.1>
/mk attack3 <attack4> <wait.1>
/mk attack2 <attack3> <wait.1>
/mk attack1 <attack2> <wait.1>
/mk circle <attack1> <wait.1>
This macro is very effective and if you have an excellent combat logic in picking priority target, this macro is even deadlier.
Isn't circle marking the primary target a CC thing? Takes Ninja for example, it is totally different between 2.x and now.
Back in 2.x, I can drop someone in 8s and this person wont even able to make out of spawn area more than 15m
The true ninja assassin style like Assassins' Creed
3.x and 4.x, Ninja is a close range combat with a lot of easy mechanics
Now Ninja is a Ninja warrior we known in the Western film
5.x and 6.x, Ninja now is a mid range combat (often stranger than range)
Ninja now is what 4.x Mahcienst used be, a freak
Also to be fair, DRK is no body's want, an orphan of Frotnline before this expansion
6.x is first expansion they are actually useful for once.
Also due to map change where backdooring is no longer available (Secure and Old Shattered). people just follow the DK.
If Secure and Old Shattered still exist, most of this DK group wont be this effective as half of their team would got bait off by backdooring
This is why DK group is not that deadly on Seal Rock
If SE allows tomeliths re-capturable on Onsal Hakir, DK's impact would be more less

You know, if Battle High really is that much of an issue to most people, why not just bring back the old system?

Folks complained about it then, about losing battle high completely and about having to last hit in order to gain battle high. If reverting is only going to bring those same complaints back up it's not worth it. (see previous post about this)
