I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again
You can’t 0.1% your way out of the fact that nobody but tanks can survive tankbusters and you need DPS to clear on patch DPS checks
There is no 0.1’ing yourself out of that

As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
However, multiple groups have proven you only need 1 tank. I am awaiting the run where it is 1 tank 7 dps.

Yes, I would love to have seen you try to clear O12S on content with no healer.
A fight where the top players couldn't clear with 0 GCD heals with 2 healers in the party.
Don't challenge them. You'll say some #)%*# like that, and they'll patch some nonsense in to make it possible.

Available Party Healing/Mitigates from the roles:

The change would be global and not only for savage or ultimate. The game has to answer if it wants to go the WoW route or not. FFXIV avoids putting responsibilities and requirements on players and is anti-parsing and anti-judging of players' performance.
They could copy some healing checks from ultimate into savage and call it a day too, but it won't solve any problems, just put log checks to any invite in PF and the need to use the convoluted ATC logging for everything so you have logs to prove someone's healing capabilities etc.

Why has this not happened for tanks thenThe change would be global and not only for savage or ultimate. The game has to answer if it wants to go the WoW route or not. FFXIV avoids putting responsibilities and requirements on players and is anti-parsing and anti-judging of players' performance.

If what you say with healers actually happened right now people would be kicking tanks left right and centre from M3 because the tank doing the buster wrong kills half the party
