I found that we are all 4 people are above level 90!!
Someone was asking who are we helping playing main scenario?
My answer was we are helping yoshi p to milk 10 years old content
probably for the experience and maybe tomes. you want the rewards without having to do that. there are words for that, but I wont use them here and will let you figure them out ^^

Hence the "easy rewards for easy work" part.I'd say it depends on what's meant by "efficient." The high-level dungeon may be more "efficient" from a strict time-perspective, but I'm going to be 100% focused on the entirety of that run. Meanwhile, if I do MSQ Roulette, it may take slightly longer, but I can multi-task the majority of the time and do other things while the cutscenes run, so my overall "efficiency" may actually be higher because I've accomplished other (non-FFXIV) things while still taking only slightly longer time-wise than if I had done the top-level dungeon. For DPS in particular, there's also the queue to consider (I have regularly found the MSQ Roulette queue goes significantly faster for me on a DPS than queuing specifically for my highest-level dungeon), so in that sense the overall time spent might actually favor the MSQ Roulette.
Don't get me wrong, I'm an avid MSQ Roulette enthusiast. It's why I'm confused, there's no reason to queue for it unless you want to get Prae or are somehow desperate for Poetics. It's something I queue for on jobs I want to level but don't want to play or when I really want to watch a video in the background, or when it's Mog tome o'clock and I just want to AFK farm (though for those I'll end up queuing for Prae directly). So I don't get people who want to remove the cut-scenes, or add more stuff, or anything else. That is all this roulette exists for. The rewards are "just good enough", not something to obsess over daily clears.



I personally think they should just rework jobs at level 50 so it's not boring af to play as them at that level.


The problem is that UW might be the biggest offender for downtime, and it has the lowest xp rewards by a country mile. They really need to fix that.Pretty much this.
Also, once upon a time, the cutscenes were skippable, and what you're describing here is exactly what happened. The criticism over it was off the charts. So the cutscenes were made unskippable, and the rewards are set high for this roulette to get people to do it and compensate them for their time.


Yeah a few abilities earlier would be nice. Black Mage would love Fire IV and Blizzard IV for instance--both so their class doesn't put them to sleep and it isn't absolutely useless lol



It probably would've needed a lot more edits but I wish they had cut the older, longer versions we used to have to smaller pieces and made this into the lv50 normal raid series instead


The problem with this kind of suggestion is I don't understand the intention of the result?
Let's say SE go ahead and do exactly of what you suggest, what gonna happen?
- The roullette itself will likely go away.
- Meaning nobody will be able to queue for it any more, regardless of their deposition toward the cutsceen.
If you don't want the cutsceen, period. Currently you can just ... not queue for it.
If you don't want the cutseen but still want the reward from the roullete ... this suggestion ain't gonna give you that 'cause the roullete itself will disappear.
If you don't mind sitting through the cutsceen for the reward ... now you have that options taken away.
Like ... this suggestion at the end if executed, NO ONE benefit, and some will lost. Literally there will be zero gain for any one at all.
Than ... what gonna happen to the lvl roulette? The trial roulette? The High level roulette? You're not suggesting getting rid all of those and put them all in the MSQ do you?But can't we make them into solo duties and fill the MSQ roulette up with any duty which is a part of the MSQ? All dungeons, Trials and most importantly, CT.

Personally, I feel the monotony of MSQ roulette can be easily fixed by including future key MSQ dungeons in it as you progress through the game.
Personally I feel it would be beneficial to include:
- The Aetherochemical Research Facility
- Baelsar's Wall
- Ala Mhigo
- The Ghimlyt Dark
- Amaurot
- Paglth'an
- The Dead Ends
- The Lunar Subterrane
Then once 8.0 is out, add two key DT dungs to the roulette.
The mandatory cutscenes should be kept for new player progression, but just having more variety as the game expands for a player would deal with most issues.

And rarely have first-time sprouts in them. It could use voice acting too1. The MSQ Roulette exists to get people into the three end-of-ARR dungeons, giving high EXP as a reward to those willing to put up with their length. If the roulette was different then those 3 duties would be otherwise destitute, making it difficult for sprouts to progress. Also, we already have a queue for X0 duties.
2. The cutscenes are unskippable so as to allow sprouts to watch them. If they were skippable, sprouts who wanted to watch them would be left far, far behind while others skipped them and finished the dungeon(s), ruining the experience.It's a daily tomes dump at best. There is way more instances gating first-timers from MSQ progression and maybe we need a universal queue and not just a few ARR instances.
