100, it's an excellent contributor to my unidentifiable ore farm.instead of complaining about it.. ask yourself why 4 people above level 90 queued for the roulette.
probably for the experience and maybe tomes. you want the rewards without having to do that. there are words for that, but I wont use them here and will let you figure them out ^^
It's optional. You don't have to do it you know.
If you make it so you can skip cutscenes when there's no sprouts, then you shouldn't get as large of bonus exp to do it. Then at that point why would anyone run these at all?? You'd fall in a situation where people would want sprouts for the bonus exp.
You said it yourself
Overall though, the roulette is there to protect the MSQ. The only other duties that should be added are those with lots of story in it. And those don't exist past these as far as I remember.
These duties should have been turned into solo instances, frankly.

Sometimes I wonder if the people complaining that MSQ Roulette is boring now ever played it before the rework. Not to say it still couldn't be better, but it used to be so much worse.
I didI had to admit it's more fun and educational now, but still boring as you could only expect these three.
I'd like to elaborate a bit more regarding the first suggestion I made.
In my opinion, usually the last duty of each expansion/MSQ progression still carries enough story in it, such as (spoiler alert) the Aetherochemical Research Facility (alo almost as lengthy as the current 3 duties in the roulette plus no loot), Baelsar's Wall, Ala Mhigo, the Ghimlyt Dark, Amaurot, the Heroes' Gauntlet, Paglth'an, etc. I personally think these cutscenes also worth watching, in terms of storytelling, and world-building. Why only protect the MSQ experience of the 3 Lv50 duties?
If we have to have unskippable cutscenes, I think if we could expand the roulette to include these content (or maybe include gradually as expansion updates as new players join the game), it could better serve the purpose of protecting the MSQ experience.
Could be a case where spaghetti code is there, but few of us could guess. It did used to be the end of the game. Well, level 30 and Titan or Ifrit.. can't recall who now, was the end for 2.0, The Gaius came in after.
They could certainly add in the other x.0 chapter enders that need 8 mans. That would make sense.

I don't agree because the dungeons you listed don't fit the criteria for what I believe belongs in MSQ roul which is mainly unskippable cutscenes, unless you...want to add more unskippable cutscenes to duties?I'd like to elaborate a bit more regarding the first suggestion I made.

I think people are likely to sit down and wait for someone to watch the boss get up, boss transition, etc than sit through Nero talking for awhile. There's a clear difference. When MSQ had skippable cutscenes people who wanted to experience it from what I was told, lost out on multiple fight encounters. When someone enters the boss fight (rarely) on any of the dungeon you listed, they don't lose too much.
Aetherochemical research facility gives as much flat tomes as Prae. It used to be my go to dungeon to get tomes for my HQ relic, my most recent run of it had us wiping multiple times on the last boss, making it not worth running for me personally.
Unskippable cutscenes suck and have no part in group content, but it's a shoulda woulda coulda, they already reworked the MSQ roulette and took out some bloat from it/split it up so one duty doesn't take forever (looking at you Prae).
The difference is in the ones you've mentioned i've not seen players consistently having a go at others for watching the cutscene. Plus big cutscenes since HW tend to be at the end of a dungeon or the start.I'd like to elaborate a bit more regarding the first suggestion I made.

As for adding duties players will quit the duty if they get the three from ARR yes it's a 30 min penalty but it's still 30 mins that they can go craft, do leves etc.

And it's exactly because of what happened to what is now MSQ Roulette.
For those complaining: Praetorium used to be *everything* that happens in Praetorium now, plus an extra floor, plus the Ultima fight, plus the Lahabrea fight after (though he was usually annihilated in ~30 seconds), complete with cutscenes between everything. Prae runs were anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour as a result.
"Fixing" MSQ rolos would take moving all those intermediary cutscenes elsewhere, because they all set things up or resolve them. Gaius' motivations, Nero joining the MSQ crew and his rivalry with Cid, everything. It would take a lot more work than what they did, which was done- in part- to try and prevent people from complaining that the huge block of MSQ XP we were getting had disappeared.
Prae chat used to be nothing but ****posting, it was glorious, because there were *eight people* involved there.
You don't have to do MSQ rolos, it's there to help sprouts get through the three wonkiest encounters in the game and provide you a decent chunk of XP for helping. There's other leveling options at the moment that are, from a pure skill perspective, probably better than doing level 50 content.
