Constant random freezing

Been having similar issue Since 7.01

But only if i am doing dungeons and raids

everything is okay when doing fate hunts with big big groups and so on in main world but when i go into a group instance like roulettes and stuff there is a change of random lag spike similar like when server is having a dos attack and in like one of ten times i get disconnected never had that issue before 7.01

I've been having the same issue since I started playing this game the other week. It just locks up and stops responding for several seconds. Eventually it goes back to normal, if I leave it alone. However, this does create a big problem when I'm say, in combat. I've been hesitant to play with other people because of that.

Adding to my previous post, this is a serious issue. It's starting to block progression for me. I can't fight some of the longer battles when the game locks up like this because it continues even as my client is frozen. I'll be fighting, it'll freeze, then when it resumes I'm dead.

Is there anything that can be done about it?

Happens to me as well, i keeps happening on savage fights and it really messes up my fights.
The game randomly freezes but music still goes and every seems to be running in the background and then everything happens at once.
It's not like a lag freeze where i can move, the game just freezes completely

I had another thread with what could be the same issue. For me, disabling Microsoft Device Association Root was what finally stopped the game freezes I was having.

I'm going to chime in and say that I did the same and had the same result. The game still has the occasional freeze, but not nearly so often or so regularly. The Microsoft Device Association Root Enumarator is something that's used to address older forms of input, so disabling it probably won't hurt much unless you're using a non-USB mouse or MIDI device or something like that.

If disabling the Microsoft Device Association Root Enumarator helps then it is very likely, that you have very old drivers for things like gamepads or mouse or so.
