As long as 'very hard' is significantly harder than what we have now, I wouldn't actually mind this. Though maybe have a gating system so that anybody who completes the latest patch dungeons below 'normal' difficulty, can't queue for extreme and savageYou didn't get what I said. I said add the same option to every Dungeon and Primal duty. It would be like this before you queue you pick what hardness setting you want to queue for. From Very hard to Very easy and bonuses would reflect on it. Thats what I said they should add. Some solo duties you don't get play as your job but as a npc.
This is just because normal mode is always chaos. You don't really bother learning more than the very basics for the fight as it isn't necessary. Those AoEs that you feel almost clipped you in normal, will be planned for and practiced in savage. Savage is a more organised experience lolI think that the difficulty is fine right now, if not pretty good, at least when it comes to normal content, not too interested in extreme content and still on the fence about giving savage a try once it drops.
My only gripe would be that it feels like some mechanics go off a little too fast in the normal raids, like bombs/Lariat in AAC3 and Clone cleaves/alternating lasers in AAC4. Having an extra second/half a second to move would go a long way because the mechs are very much "MOVE IMMEDIATELY OR GET CLIPPED IF YOU HAVE BAD PING", especially if you don't process where to go almost as soon as the boss telegraphs their attack.
I think for Casual Content they've got the Balance pretty great at providing some challenge to the player, without too much stress. I don't think they should be stressless... but they shouldn't also be hard, it's called normal content for a reason.
For Extremes, they should be in-between Normal and Savage, I think EXT's should be a step towards harder content aka our "midcore" while Savage is considered Hardcore and Ultimate's are the highest end, Extremes have been great in my personal opinion.

Wipe should be expected even in normal dungeons not even extreme or the content will be a jokeI think for Casual Content they've got the Balance pretty great at providing some challenge to the player, without too much stress. many good designed bosses are getting boring because some people can't hold their breath if they die once or their hp is less than 80%
I don't want my game to be target these audience who plays the game as a sims-like gams, it is one of the most frustrating things that I experience in this game
I'm not sure how you can be quite so out of touch with what this game is, and who it caters to. When has this game NOT catered to that type of person? At what point do you say "this is the kind of game I've chosen to play" and accept it?
The content is engaging, but not hard in any way. Not any harder than in the past, just more interesting. It's a step in the right direction for sure.
Not worth it is interesting, meaning you are not even playing for the difficulty but are complaining about the lack of difficulty.
In any case, I had a lot of fun clearing both of them and I think my two new wing mounts made it worth my while, again, game is not tailored suited to you.
Not sure why people are complaining of difficulty either - this is the first expansion that I cleared the extremes in my first day of PF. The mechanics are more fair - and by fair I mean that the fights are not "forced" difficult and bombarded with body count mechanics that wipe the raid at a miniscule error.
The normal raids are also challenging but I don't see them anything more special than the previous ones? The 3rd and 4th one are literally just cleaves? By the ilevel bump coming soon, those raids will be a joke. The 1st and 2nd one had some gimmicks that are challenging in the beginning but once you figure it out, it's not that complicated - just like the raids before it.
These people you describe are already the target audience for this type of content, you are clearly a midcore person so you should wait for savage to give your opinion on if YoshiP made content more difficult or not
This isnt your game lol, a lot of people of different skill levels play this game, accept their existence or simply quit playing
I don't mind playing difficult content if there is a reward.. mount is not my thing I don't care about cosmetics other than gear..Not worth it is interesting, meaning you are not even playing for the difficulty but are complaining about the lack of difficulty.

difficulty = rewards
mounts isn't my thing is it hard to understand?
