    This is just my insight on things as they currently stand, but it feels a bit too darn early to even look at DT's overall content difficulty.

    We have the first two extremes and the first 8-man Raid Tier, and it's just normal right now.

    We need to wait until July 30th for Savage to get a better idea of this expansion's difficulty, and even then, that's still leaving out SO much other content that could change people's perspectives on this,
    like the new Deep Dungeon, the new Criterion, additional Extremes and Savages modes, and Ultimate. Patience is required here; let us allow stuff to breathe a little and give the expansion a solid 6 months to a year.

    I think that the difficulty is fine right now, if not pretty good, at least when it comes to normal content, not too interested in extreme content and still on the fence about giving savage a try once it drops.

    My only gripe would be that it feels like some mechanics go off a little too fast in the normal raids, like bombs/Lariat in AAC3 and Clone cleaves/alternating lasers in AAC4. Having an extra second/half a second to move would go a long way because the mechs are very much "MOVE IMMEDIATELY OR GET CLIPPED IF YOU HAVE BAD PING", especially if you don't process where to go almost as soon as the boss telegraphs their attack.

    Still. Dungeons went from Very Easy to Easy. And there's no real change in trial difficulty compared to previously. And the trials are also only slightly harder than before. Look at the boss and look at the floor. There are lines on the floor.. They'll usually tell you where it is and isn't safe to stand.

    Look at the boss. Is it raising its hand? Then that side of the arena is gonna get cleaved. Is it raising both hands? It's gonna cleave one side then the other, in the order of how the hands are raised.

    Does the boss have more than two hands, and are at least two hands raised? Like two left hands and a right hand? It's gonna cleave left twice and right once. Once again, in the order they were raised.

    Sometimes those hands are wings or some other part. The body part that identifies it will generally be glowing or be drawing in energy or things like that.

    I don't think it's unfair to assume that the playerbase has a baseline skill floor after 5 expansions worth of content that follow the same kind of telegraphs. Especially when we've been doing body-language telegraphs since at least Shadowbringers.

    The change in difficulty most likely targets casual players

    in my opinion if you can clear stuff like Extremes with ease, you are not casual player you're at least a midcore player

    Well, a lot of players do find it hard, you can take a look at PF, we are a few weeks in to the extremes and there are more practice groups than farming groups.

    From you char it looks like you only cleared ex1? ex2 is a bit harder, maybe you will like it better.

    Also, ofcourse vids are going to be out, do you want SE to copy right claim the videos? what are you expecting? there are static groups with the sole prepose to beat it day one and make a video.

    TBH I didnt even touch ex2 reason is simple

    Rewards are not enough and it isn't worth it
