"you need to learn the mechs (you lazy f...) you need to stop being carried by other (you gifting f...), otherwise dont do dungeons, normal raids & ex trials, just AFK in limsa with the crafters only"
    ...
some players are just not as good, incapable to learn it (time restraints, living / distraction restraints, brain or psychological restraints, etc. etc.), not saying content has to remains boring AF, but mechanical difficulty is not the only solution

Well uh, taking away the tone...
    You should learn the mechs.
You should probably improve at a game you've put in as much time as it takes to watch all of One Piece enough to not need a hard carry, indeed.
If you can't do the combat content and still want to play, there's plenty of non-combat content indeed, which might be more your speed.

How do you propose the combat content could be interesting without being challenging? Making it more cinematic maybe... but that literally only works the first time you do it.

Making excuses, and yes they are excuses, doesn't help anyone.
Time restraints? You have three years to do it all. If you cant do around 10 dungeons, 12 normal raid fights, about as many trials, and a few other things in that time then maybe the MMO genre just isn't for you. Even just 1 hour a week would give you over 150 hours to do it all.
Living restraints? That's the same point as time restraints.
Brain/psychological restraints? Doesn't stop me. It also infuriates me when people point as the concept of disability to make a point as if we aren't actual people capable of overcoming our limitations miss me with that.

You've probably put at least 300 hours into this game by this point, likely much more. Most people are not struggling after as much experience. If you, or anyone else still is, seek help. Don't demand the content gets changed to appease a small selection of people more interested in making excuses and not trying to improve so that they can go back to more or less AFKing through all the casual content. Because that's the actual entitled take.

First off, TC keeps bringing up this Arthar person? Yeah, no clue who that is. I found this thread organically and I'm sure I'm not the only one. TC needs pushback though because feedback like theirs in the past has gotten the game to the point it's currently at and we're only just starting to see things change and I do not want them to go back to as braindead as they were in Endwalker. The dungeons, trials and raids we have right now? Still aren't back to even pre-nerf ARR difficulty let alone Heavensward difficulty.

And thanks to Trusts they have that. Optional content doesn't need to cater to them as well to the detriment of the rest of the playerbase.

There are plenty of players with what you have described and manage to do content on their own time. Heck, I'm pretty sure that there are players with disabilities that manage to do EX and Savage content.

I say this as a first time mom with an 8-month old (at the time of writing this.), and I got through M1-4 just fine at my own pace.

Sure, you can argue that there are other people with more dire circumstances, fine. But it is up to you, the player, to manage around that in your life. That should not fall onto the game's responsibility all the time, even though it has a lot of accessibility options already implemented in. Doing an Expert Roulette, or a Normal Raid, while eating a meal should not even be a thing. You kinda are supposed to be aware, learn and finally answer to mechanics.

Don't want to do that? Like I said previously, there is always DoH/L to do. Make money selling raid food!

Listen, I've been playing this game since 2.0, and this whole difficulty thing isn't new at all. It keeps happening with every expansion and it's like we're not learning at all. It will get resolved as we go along and getting better gear.

The game caters a lot to casual players as it is. At the end of the day, Dawntrail is still new and we're promised a lot of neat optional content that caters to all walks of life, it seems.

    Sit back and chill.
