The second fight was extremely unfun and very frustrating as a protanopic-colorblind player. The soft pinks and reds of the AoE dodgefest bit are awful to try and see- literally snowblind- but it compounds with the colors of the floor and the entirety of the room besides.

I refuse to use the accessibility option to tune to one encounter (although I know it's there.)

Third fight was insanely simple (which was strange,) and fourth was simple after dying once to the optional floor superboss.

The gearsets are literal meh-tier to me. They're either uninspired alternatives to the gimp suit from level 96 questing gear or otherwise uninspired meh-whatever outfits to me.

That said: I rather enjoyed the opponents' transformed selves. Each of them looked neat.

Lastly: ahegao-ish face man made me laugh hard irl when it stilled the image.

The snapshots are identical to anything else in the game. I treat them just like how I treat them in savage/ultimate and have 0 issues. The hearts in the second fight are actually better feeling than the little guys in one of the recent expert dungeon that grab you. I was actually able to easily weave in and out of them without getting hit because their hitboxes feel much smaller.

I don't like the idea that someone who doesn't like Dawntrail or doesn't think the raids are all that is just "joyless" or not down for something casual.

People are acting like the other expansions were devoid of casual story moments or joy (no).

The second fight I do think is a bit overtuned for a normal raid. Especially with overlapping AOEs of the same pink color. There is fun chaos and then there is this. All the other fights are great though and even though i dont like the second fight. I like the asthetic and other mechanics outside of the love mechanic.

I had a very bad physiological reaction to that fight last night to the point that I had to leave midfight and throw up. I was already feeling sick in the cutscene. I turned everything down, looked at a vid and then did the fight looking only at the elements I had to and it worked. Strangely, I now find this to be the easiest of all with no way of dying. The 4th fight with the lightning though is blinding no matter what I do and the snapshots on one of the mechanics don't pardon. That being said, SE should really be more careful with visual effects making people sick.

I am not a fan of the vulgar WWE like setting though and find it repulsive and uninspiring as a theme.

We did have gear in Endwalker that felt like it had the same silky cloth theme & color palette ongoing that you can mix & match them.
Like Asphodelos set <--> Aglaia set and Euphrosyne set <--> Anabaseios set

So not sure if that would have been some news.

    I completely agree
    - The mechanics are fresh and fun
    - Just the right difficulty
    - The arenas feel unique and distinct
    - The music is awesome
    - The story is okay and even has a fun WWE feeling to it

The only thing I dont like as much is the raid gear but thats a highly subjective component which I am not too bothered by

Previously, I felt like the gap between normal and savage difficulty was veryyyy high. Which discourages savage raiding.
With higher normal difficulty, I'm hoping they somewhat bridge the gap slightly more. Although I hope in future they ImPlement a third difficulty between savage and normal so savage doesn't seem that big a mountain to climb.
    Nice, fights though

I'm sure it would definitely help, yeah. Just sucks that an official encounter isn't good for me on its own to work with. Also, having to use an accessibility option (not being forced, but having not too much recourse if I wanted to help myself) on its own sort of knocks at my pride/sensitivities. It's hard to word; also, this is just my own opinion when it comes to myself.
