This is because they completely removed a really important feature that gave female midlander characters such a distinct look, which was a semi-transparent eyelash texture that overlaid the very top of the eye. It's most noticeable on face 1 in my opinion, but it made a significant change to all of them in a way that's really unfortunate.

I made a post about this a while back and I'm glad others took notice; it should be an easy enough change so I'm hoping it gets implemented if enough people speak up.

I really appreciate you and a few other face 1 players making such comprehensive posts about the common issues we all have! Getting back that shading and the slightly heavier eyeliner along with lessening the eye bags would fix the vast majority of the problems I have with the update.
